Nightmare - A DreamZzz Fanstory

The First Meeting

Fairies are flying through the magical forest of the Fantasy Realm when the peaceful silence gets interrupted by Cooper. "Hey guys! There is something following us." "Great, maybe we can ask for directions." Logan then replied sarcastically. "I don't see anything, Coop..." Mateo replies to his friend, who was walking behind him. "Ah great! Now which way?" Logan asked, annoyed.

 Suddenly a huge walking turtle stepped into their way. "A giant turtle? Just when I thought this place couldn't get any weirder..." was heard from Logan. Cooper recognised the van and asked "Is that-" while getting interrupted by Mrs. Castillo. "What are you doing here? There is a storm coming!" "Mrs. Castillo!" Izzie yelled in excitement to her favourite Tako maker. "Actually, we are looking for the Dream Forge." Mateo asked the old lady in a happy tone. 

"Hm.. A forge..." Mrs. Castillo began looking through her turtle van, objects flew out of the small serving window but she soon came to it and said "No, no I got nothing." Meanwhile Izzie fed the turtle a piece of grass when the friends suddenly heard something exploding. It shaked the ground so hard that Mrs. Castillo's turtle retreated into its shell. 

A nightmare storm appeared in the sky over the Fantasy Realm. "Darkness falls and nightmares are soon to follow..." Mrs. Castillo told the friends. "The realm is in danger!" She then added. "Guys! We need to get to the Dream Forge before we awake!" Cooper reminded them all of why they are here again and Izzie added "Yeah, we might lose our chance to become Dream Chasers!" "Uhm.. Okay.. Mateo! What's the plan?" Cooper then asked into the group. "We need to keep going towards the forge!" He said and pointed into the said direction, which Logan didn't seem to like that much. "Dude! Don't look at him! That little green blob doesn't make him the boss!" He shouted angrily at Cooper who began to walk in the direction Mateo had pointed in. 

"He had us going in circles! Logan the barbarian on the other hand was born to command!" "Relax! All of you! I will lead us there. Duh." Izzie sprang in. "Izz..." Mateo then said in disbelief. "What? Who else stole a totally awesome crossbow from the Night Hunter?" She said after she pulled out the Night Hunters crossbow she stole earlier, and began pointing wildly while an arrow was equipped. That made her friends back away and yell in terror and fear of the effects of the arrows. "Izzie! Put that away before you hurt someone or yourself!" Mateo quickly told his younger sister. 

"Guys! Regardless of who is in charge, which way are we going?" Cooper asked into the round again. "Go ahead, fearless leader! Which direction?" Logan then questioned Mateo while bowing down as a joke. "I say we go that way!" Izzie then pointed in the same direction with the crossbow as Mateo pointed into earlier. They began walking when a huge flying creature soar through the sky and grabbed onto Izzie who was still holding the crossbow. It flew around seemingly trying to make her fall, but gave up and took her with it. Izzie was screaming in fear. "Izzie!" Mateo yelled behind the creature. "See? Darkness..." was all Mrs. Castillo said. "Yup.. It got weirder..." Logan then answered unnecessarily.

The three of them began following some noise they heard from the distance that led them away from their original path, when they saw a shadowy figure leaning onto a tree on one of the floating islands. "Night Hunter!" Logan yelled as soon as he saw them. "Woh woh woh... I am not the Night Hunter!" a female teen voice said and the figure jumped off the flying rocks. She wore a black leather jacket with nots and a black jeans. A hood was covering most of her face and a strand of hair was hanging out. On her back was a dark coloured spear with a yellow-green crystal on the blade. "Then who are you?!" Mateo said ready to fight. "I am a nobody..." she said. "I don't want to fight, okay? Just wanna warn you to not go in there. The village is basically lost! You can't do anything against it!" She slowly came closer to the boys. 

"Stay away!" Logan yelled at her. "Or you will have to fight me!" "I warned you... " she said and walked through the middle of the group and left in the direction they originally wanted to go before Izzie was taken. "Hey! Wait! What was that thing that grabbed my sister?" Mateo ran after her. "Mateo! " Logan yelled after him and followed. "I guess we follow the unknown now?" Cooper said and shrugged with his shoulders before running after them. 

"That was a gryphon. And not any. It is the pet of the Time Bandit. Your sister is lost. Like everything she steals. And now leave me alone!" the teen said grumpy and swung her arm into Mateos direction as if she was trying to hit him away. Mateo stopped and his friends came to him. "What was that about?" "I don't know about you guys, but I don't think that was the last time we saw her..." Mateo said while looking after her. "We have to find out where that noise came from, Mateo!" Logan then told his friend and they returned to where they first heard the noises, just to walk into the Night Hunters Grimspawn. 

They captured them and brought them into a small fantasy village under Grimspawn attack. They were brought in front of one of the giant Grimkeepers but when it reached out his hand to grab them an arrow soar through the sky and hit it. It took its hand back and hesitated a bit too long, for another arrow hit it. The three looked up and saw the gryphon again, but on its back was Izzie! The boys began fighting the Grimspawn with all they got. They punched them, slammed them against other Grimspawn and used them as shields, while the girl on the gryphon that was sitting in front of Izzie was shooting the Grimspawn with her arrows. 

"Is that.. Izzie?" Mateo held in and asked. The gryphon then landed behind them and the girl sprang down. "Move it or lose it, sweethearts!" She then said and pulled out the next arrow, readied it, fired and everytime she loosened a shot a rock guitar sound appeared. "I have.. So many questions. So many..." Cooper said and began climbing up the gryphon. "Get up here!" the girl then said. Was that the Time Bandit the teen was talking about? They all climbed up and as soon as the girl was on it too, they took off. "Yeah, Zoey! Thank you! You are soo awesome!" Izzie then said to her. "Woh, Izz. We are not bffs now! Don't even think about texting me! Not a single emoji, understand?" she said. "Uh... I don't even have a phone..." Izzie then says disappointed. Zoey then pulls out a strange clock and does something with it. Then the forge is in sight.
