Todoroki's always been somewhat of an enigma to you, and perhaps everyone else. His mysterious, anti-social persona had kept his classmates at bay, a considerable distance away. Yet after some sort of revelation, he'd strangely befriended half the guys in his class. Puzzlingly so, his interactions with you (though rare, finding that you'd be nervous and dash at the sight of him) began to be watched by the said guys in class. Todoroki was odd, but the way you felt at the mere sight of him was even odder.
The feeling only intensified when on the early morning of the day of moving into the UA dorms, as the bright light lounged on the grass, by the entrance of the 1-A building, in a corner isolated from the latter 1-A classmates, he said, "Please go out with me."

"Hey, hurry up you two. We haven't got all day, start moving," interrupted Aizawa from your few seconds of utter stupor. Todoroki stayed silent but started walking towards the entrance door, his gaze firm, staying on you for a moment before doing so, carrying his moving box.
"Well?," Aizawa started, "I didn't just mean Todoroki, Y/N."
"Right! Right, right! Haha... I'll get right to it!", you managed to stutter out before rushing to the dorm, box in your hands.-
Throughout the entirety of the unpacking, all you thought about was Todoroki's sudden confession. Your mind filled with questions, "if" 's, possibilities - whether you would have answered 'yes' to Todoroki's unexpected proposal if Aizawa hadn't interrupted, why Todoroki had chosen you out of all people to ask out and why your mouth yearned to voice one word 'yes' so badly (needless to say, out of friendly obligation and nothing else).
A knock on your dorm door pulled you out of your thoughts. Opening the door, you see Iida calling you to come out. "Y/N, hurry up! Come out to the main room, it's time for dinner." He yelled, flailing his arms as if a short-circuited robot. You mentally thank Iida for stopping your train of thoughts before it reaches to, well, to keep it short, unpleasant conclusions about how you might feel about the half-and-half boy.Closing your door and taking a turn to your room, you realize that your moving box isn't even half empty. Its been over two hours! Lazy to complete the unpacking, you make a mental note to continue later before hitting the hay. Wearily entering the main room, thoughts about a certain red-white haired boy, yet again, began unceasingly persisting after its short break.
Not a lot of your classmates were in the main room yet - Mina, Tsuyu, Kaminari, Sero, Ochako and Deku were the only ones present, with the exclusion of Iida, seeing as he must've been knocking on the others' doors to come out. A few lazy minutes went by, with idle chatter carried by mostly Mina, Kaminari and Sero, with a few others pitching in at times.
By the time everyone was out of their rooms, Iida began to take attendance. Listlessly, your stare followed Iida's tapering gaze at your classmates, given their names called, until it reached Todoroki. You squeaked, jumping in your seat, as the class's attention turned to you.
"Y/N? You alright?," someone said, but you weren't paying attention. You were busy openly, unabashedly staring at the two-tone haired boy in a daze. Iida continued to check the attendance when suddenly a baritone voice called, almost shouting, "Y/N, can we talk?"
Speak of the devil. You flushed red as everyone's gazes shifted toward you and Todoroki.
A pause.
And a "Yes! Okay!," you hastily complied, more or less squawking, getting up and running to the eccentric boy - the earlier momentarily interrupted train of wild thoughts yet again continuing.
You heard Iida's distant yells of what you could not care less to even make out, the red-white haired boy's back faced on you. Lump in your throat, you considered what to tell him, whether to accept or to reject him - your heart, to your yearning for the former oh-so-badly.
