Inevitable Flame

Healing her scars

Eda couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness as she sat on the counter by the sink, watching Raine prepare dinner for her. It was a rare moment of tranquility, with their daughter safely at her aunt's house per the child's request.

As Raine moved around the kitchen, Eda noticed how their eyes kept darting back to her with a playful smirk. She knew they were just as jittery about this night alone together as she was.

At least she hoped.

The aroma of sizzling garlic filled the air while Raine expertly chopped vegetables, occasionally stealing glances in Eda's direction. there was an undeniable tension between them that made it hard for her to focus, keeping her haze glued to their belt buckle.
"Eda, are you okay, sweetheart?"  Raine asked, their teasing tone is what made her heart threaten to stop.  Afraid to say something she might regret later, Eda held her tongue, nodding sheepishly.  Again, a soft chuckle from her partner had her attempting to escape her skin. She orchestrated this and invited them over... She had a clear vision of what she desired... How he desired it and when. Now she's perched on her kitchen counter in pajamas, gently swinging her legs. " alright, the food is ready sweetheart" Raine announced finally turning to her with a smile.

Eda and Raine sat across from each other at the dinner table, their eyes locked in a nostalgic gaze. It had been years since they last shared a meal together like this.

just two old friends,years later turned partners reminiscing about simpler times. As part of their stay-at-home date night, recreating one of their favorite high school traditions.

The room was filled with laughter as Eda playfully reached over and stole a forkful of food from Raine's plate. "Hey! That was mine," they exclaimed with mock indignation before retaliating by grabbing some pasta from her dish. "See now were even,and besides dont cook so well if you don't want me to eat it"  she teased back, serving a small wink. They both knew it wasn't really about the food, it was about reliving those carefree moments when life seemed so much easier.

As they continued swapping bites back and forth, memories flooded back into their minds.

late-night study sessions, secret rendezvous behind the bleachers, inside jokes that only made sense to them.

For these brief moments during dinner tonight, all the bad stuff that happened between them faded away into oblivion.

All the hurt feelings that were pushed down, all insecurity.  All the mistakes.

"What movie do you want to watch?" Raine finally asked, a wide smile on their face. "Raine if you don't already know, then il never marry you"  the woman joked, with a small scoff. 

Raine paused.

"Y-youd actually do that?"  They asked, shocked she would even consider marrying them after all they'd put her through. "Raine chill out I was just joking, lets just watch Hamilton, or.. Fuck it, heathers"  eda replied, unaware of the internal war she had just caused.  Raine still smiled, and nodded. "Whatever you like, Hermosa" they gushed softly, a fully red blush creeping on their cheeks. 

Eda looked at them for a couple seconds, then smiled. "Raine, you know I dont speak Spanish.. If there's something in my hair just say that"  she joked, knowing that probably wasnt the case.  "No.. Your just so beautiful" they sighed, grabbing their hair as if they were in pain with a small chuckle.

It was at that moment, she realized this is what love was.  The kind of love shes been craving from them since she first fell for them. The kind of unconditional love, that assures security and admiration. Raine would never judge her, insult her, harm her in any way shape or form.

Slowly the woman stood up, then leaned over her partner with a smile and a mischievous glint in her eyes, then asked. "Rainestorm, may is do a favor?"

They looked at her with nothing but  admiration. "Anything I have the power to give you, is yours" they replied.  Eda's hand soon reached their jaw, then drawing to their chin as she got closer. With a small giggle, she said. "Raine"..

"all I've ever wanted was you"

Her lips met theirs, leaving them shocked yet pleasantly surprised. They reciprocated with a  soft hum, when she pulled back. "I love you..and.. I know you love me to"  her words seemed to lift every bit of worry off their shoulders, worry they didn't even know they were carrying. 

Before they knew it they were on her. 

Eda's slim, curvy figure easily gave Raine enough to grab onto, their hands forming and a firm grip around her lower back, feeling her chest up against theirs.

Her lips up against theirs.

Her desperate sighs everytime they paused to take a breath, and the way she clenched their shirt in her hands was all they needed to let them know she was finally ready.  "Rainestorm, I need you so badly.. " she finally wimpered. "You have me I'm not going anywhere" they assured her, capturing her lips once again, drawing bittersweet tears from her eyes.  Her hand sliding up their neck, tangling her fingers in their hair, drawing a small groan from them was enough to make her ach between her legs proved by the way she stood.

"Your safe word is cinnamon"  they whispered I to her ear, making her cheeks burn, then hearing her small laugh that made them so love drunk. "Baby, I don't like cinnamon" eda remarked, feeling their grip tighten, pulling her closer to them. "That's the point, just say it if you get overwhelmed.. Or if anything started to hurt"  they explained, ad if she didn't already know.

"Il be fine.. Just as long as I'm with you" eda gushed, when she was suddenly picked up, being held under her thighs where the exposed skin was, due to the length of her shorts.   Her black tank top wasn't much better. It was fitted, showing off her physique, and went a little ways past her waist line.  "May i?" Raine asked quietly, their fingers lingering around the hem of her shirt, their noses touching and foreheads connected.

"Dont ask me anything.. Just take me" she begged, wrapping her hands around their neck, filling her mouth with them. She could feel her tounge tangling with theirs, aggressively disagreeing over dominace until eda have it to Raine.  "You taste sweet.. "  they mummered, as their hands went under her shirt, pulling it up. "My sweet tangerine.. " they teased softly, getting a breathy chuckle from both adults. Once Raine set eda down, she was up against a wall, her neck feeling the assault if Raines lips, ad they ran their hands up and down her waist and hips.

"If you keep this up..il go crazy" she whispered, pulling them closer.   "Go crazy.. Let go, because IV got you" they assured her, sinking down to one knee, admiring her body with her shirt almost off. They smiled, seeing her stretch Marks, being sure to kiss each one, them look up at her, to see Her face flushed with embarrassment. "Your so beautiful" they muttered, their kisses going down her waist, and heading for the ache between her legs.

And that's when their night truly begun, nothing but the raw feeling of passion and love. And that's night she decided she'd be okay..
