y/n stood infront of the mirror, adjusting her dress for what felt like the hundredth time. tonight was a special night. she had been invited to dinner by chris, and his brothers.

they've been friends for a few months, although being the closest to matt, chris had captured her heart.

as she applied the final touches to her makeup, her mind wandered back to the first time she had met the triplets. it had been at a mutual friends party, where she had initially mistaken them for one another.

"tonight's going to be perfect," she whispered to herself, hoping the evening would go smoothly. chris had been hinting at something important for the past week, and she had a feeling tonight would be the night he finally opened up about it.

she arrived at the restaurant a little early, her heart pounding with anticipation. the triplets were already there, looking fresh with their coordinated outfits. they greeted her with warm smiles, each of them giving her a hug, chris held on for longer than the others.

"y/n, you look stunning," chris said, his eyes widening with admiration.

"thank you chris," she replied, feeling a blush creep up her cheeks.

they were seated at a cozy corner table, the soft lightning creating an intimate atmosphere. as they browsed the menu, they all chatted quietly.

"so um... what are we all eating?" chris asked picking up the conversations.

"i chose alfredo pasta" matt said looking at nick.

"i have like a meaty, turkey breast sandwhich or something"

"ew, what the fuck nick" chris laughed

"what!?"

"why would you ever pick turkey?" chris asks.

"ham clears easy" y/n replied backing chris.

"i completly agree, ham is way better than turkey."

"fuck off, im eating it not you"

"so, y/n," nick began, "chris has been talking about this dinner all week. he's been pretty nervous" he said nudging chris.

"nick!" chris exclaimed, looking embarrassed.

y/n smiled, feeling slight excitement. "is that so? what's the occasion chris?"

chris cleared his throat, his cheeks tinged with a faint pink. "well, y/n, there's something i've been meaning to tell you."

but before he could continue, the waiter arrived to take their orders. after everyone ordered, chris had tried to forget what he had started before the waiter arrived.

finally, as desert was being served, chris took a deep breath and reached across the table to take y/n's hand.

"y/n, there's something i've been waiting to say for a while now..." he began as matt and nick smiled at eachother, "i've unexpectedly grown to care about you deeply, more than i ever thought possible. you make me feel alive, and i can't even begin to imagine my life without you."
