The weekend arrived, and Ayliz's father reminded them about the dinner plans at his friend's house. Ayliz got ready, wearing a beautiful light blue short frock and white trousers, and wrapped a hijab around her head. Her mother looked stunning in an elegant Abaya. As they gathered in the living room, ready to leave, the doorbell rang.
Ayliz's father got up to answer it, and they heard him speaking to someone outside. "Ah, okay, wait a minute," he said, before calling out to them, "Girls, it's the driver from Haroon's house. He's here to pick us up."
Ayliz and her mother exchanged excited glances, and they all headed out the door, following the driver to the waiting car. As they settled in, Ayliz felt a thrill of anticipation. She had never been to Haroon's house before, and she couldn't wait to meet his family and enjoy a lovely dinner together.
The drive was smooth, and soon they arrived at a beautiful, grand mansion, surrounded by lush gardens and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Ayliz's eyes widened as she took in the stunning architecture and beautifully manicured lawns. "Wow, this is amazing!" she exclaimed.
Her father smiled, leading them towards the entrance. "Yes, Mr. Haroon's house is truly impressive. He has a beautiful big mansion, and a heart to match."
As they stepped inside, they were greeted by Mr. Haroon himself, a warm smile on his face. "Welcome, welcome! Come in, come in! I'm so glad you could make it." He ushered them into a beautifully decorated living room, where his family was waiting to meet them.
Ayliz's eyes scanned the interior, taking in the opulent decorations and lavish furnishings. The mansion was a true masterpiece, a testament to Mr. Haroon's excellent taste. She felt a little awestruck, but her father's reassuring presence made her feel more comfortable.
As they entered the dining room, Ayliz saw a beautifully set table, with delicious food spread out before them. Her stomach growled in anticipation, and she couldn't wait to dig in. Mr. Haroon's wife, a graceful woman with a kind smile, welcomed them warmly. "Please, make yourselves at home. We're so glad you could join us tonight."
As they sat down in the dining area, Mrs. Haroon gazed at Ayliz with admiration. "Mashallah, Ayliz, you've grown up to be a beautiful young girl! You look like a cute doll!"
Ayliz blushed, feeling a little shy but pleased by the compliment.
Her father then turned to Mr. Haroon asked, "By the way, where's your son? I was looking forward to meeting him."
But Mr. Haroon interrupted with a chuckle. "Ah, my friend, you're here as my friend, not my personal assistant! Call me 'buddy' like you used to in our college days!"
Ayliz's father smiled, understanding the gesture. "Okay, dear buddy!" he replied, using the affectionate term from their old friendship.
Mr. Haroon replied "he is out of here lemme call him"
Mr. Haroon excused himself to call his son, his voice low and conversational. "Hey, where are you? We're waiting for you... Okay, okay, just get here when you can."
He returned to the table, shaking his head in amusement. "That boy is always running late. I swear, he's going to give me gray hair one day."
Mrs. Haroon playfully rolled her eyes. "You're just glad he's finally coming, admit it."
Ayliz's father chuckled. "Well, at least he's making an effort. That's more than some kids would do."
As they ate dinner, the sound of footsteps approached. Ayliz looked up to see a boy with dark hair and piercing eyes, his skin pale and his features chiseled. He had messy hair, looking so handsome. Mrs. Haroon's warm voice broke the silence, "Ah, my prince is here!"
