I've been in the shop for almost 4 hours now, I still had another 2 hours left to go of my shift. Most of the guys have already gone home, my manager threw the keys to me not too long ago for me to lock up when I'm done.
It's around 9 at night. Who is going to come here so late at night?
"Excuse me, excuse me." I spoke too soon.
With a reluctant sigh, I turned to see a figure running towards me. Behind them, their car had a flat wheel and steam flowing from the engine. "Yes?"
"I need some help, are you still open?" The woman came into my sightline. She looked at me pleadingly, I sighed again. "I'll pay double."
"I'll have it done soon." I gave her a tight lipped smile as I slipped past her. "Just take a seat and relax, don't worry." I waved her off, avoiding her eyes as I examined her car.
Looked like she had a broken valve and a definite flat tire on the left side of the front of her car. Easy fix.

"Alright." I slid out from under the car, sitting up on the dolly beneath me and looking at the girl who stared nervously at me. "It's all fixed, ma'am."
"Oh my god, thank you so much." I stood up and wiped my hands on the rag. I tensed up immensely when I felt her arms suddenly wrap around my from behind. "You are a life savor." She muffled out and pulled away.
"It's not a big deal." I chuckled sheepishly, a tight lipped smile on my face. The girl shook her head playfully and handed me $400.
"Thank you, again." She whispered, tucking the money in the pocket of my jumpsuit while looking directly at me. "Charlie, is it? Cute name."
"Thanks." I nodded mindlessly. I watched her start walking to the drivers side of her car. "And you are?"
"Y/N, Y/N L/N." Y/N flashed me a grin as she buckled herself in.
"Nice meeting you." I gave her a genuine smile this time as I turned back to put my tools away.
"Hey." Y/N called for me, I turned around and saw how hesitant she was on leaving. "When do you get off?"
I glanced at my watch. "About 45 minutes. Why?" I cocked my head curiously towards her.
"Wanna hang out?"
