CHAPTER ONE

Savoring the moments

I'm here again in my room. Looking at the ceiling while thinking of the lonely scene I had last March. Grr.. I didn't got the chance to properly say goodbye to my friends before I go. Maybe I'm afraid to tell them I won't be together with them anymore. It is probably the fact that I had to transfer school in favor of my gentle and lovable older brother Rain. Oh why it should be me to sacrifice and all? I'm starting to cry again until I fall asleep.

"Kate, I'm sorry for until now I can't tell you how i feel...." my prince

I'm shock but I won't let him feel that... "What are you saying? Your my best friend here! I won't forget you even we we're miles apart.... you'll always be special to me."

"That's not what I'm talking about... I know I'll always have you as a friend but Kate.... I... I... like you for who you are.... your my best friend... but I think I can't be a good bestfriend to you. I don't know when it started, since you became special to me. I always think of you everyday. I care about you so much and I want to protect you." He says

I feel I don't want to hear the rest of what he'll gonna say so I interrupted him...

"What do you mean? Are you drunk? or is that the effect of your over practice with your basketball team? Come on best... I think our class is about to start now and you haven't finish unpacking your things in your locker. We should better keep going now. Or do I need to get it for you hmm?"

I turn my back at him and started walking to his locker to get his things.

"Kate... wait... I'm serious here!" my prince

"And I'm starting to get goosebumps... creepy! hahaha... you're craz....!" Kate

I didn't finish my sentence.... two arms wrap around me, the one is around my waist and the other one is around my shoulder.... I'm even more shock! He is hugging me with both of his arm tightly so I can't let go.

"Hey... what are you doing? let me go... I can't breathe." I joked but I can feel my heart beat so fast

He didn't let go of those hands but his eyes met mine. There is a deep meaning to his tender gaze. I know there is beacuse I can feel it and I could melt any time. Then suddenly his gaze tightens a little and he looked away but still hugging me...

"Kate... I... I LOVE..." he whispered. I didn't hear what he said clearly so I ask, "What?" but as soon as he'll open his mouth to repeat... we hear the loud bell that means the class is about to start.

"RRRIIiiNNGGGG" the school bell rang in the entire school.

Dang it! sounds familiar..

I dreamt again about my prince. He frequently appears in my dreams this past days. Everytime I dream of him I feel that its real. He is real but I don't know him. Obviously, I don't have a boy best friend right now. I only have a girl bestfriend.

My dream prince whom I can't remember his face when I woke up. Why does I can't see his face clearly, I hope I can recognize that face even in my dreams. I wish its real. I wish that my prince is for real.
