Marriott Chicago

1000 hrs.

Peter knocked on the door of room 256. The door opened and there stood Brian Johnson.

"I didn't do anything wrong, I swear!" Brian screamed.

"I never said that you did." Peter replied smoothly.

"Okay.. So what are you here for?" Brian asked looking visibly relieved.

"Tell me all you know about Hans Peterson."

1 hour later

"So you see, Hans could never have sent the video, he's too much of a coward."Brian said.

"Yes, I could see that, and the evidence says that too."

"Then, what is he still doing in jail?" Brian asked.

"Waiting for us." Peter replied.

"What is that supposed to mean? Wait, are you suggesting that...... you're telling that... we're going to... break-out Hans from his cell?"

"Yeah"

"But why are you helping him?"

"I need his help for something."Peter replied.

"Sounds reasonable, but do you know what the biggest problem will be?"Brian said.

"What?" Smith asked.

"Even if you break open the door to his cell, Hans will be too scared of the law to come out." Brian stated.

Peter looked at Brian for a few minutes,"Leave that to me, this is what we're going to do...."

Metropolitan Correctional Center, Chicago

"Hey Smith!"

"Hey Porter, Jenny needed your help for something, didn't say what it was though." Smith said.

"But I've got to interrogate Hans!"

"Don't worry, I'll get him out of his shell, you know my technique."

"Yeah, I feel you're too soft, but surprisingly it works, anyway I'll see what she wants." Porter said and left the building.

CIA Regional Headquarters

30 mins. later

Jennifer Rivers

Secretary to The Director

Agent Porter knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

"Hey Jenny, you needed me?" Porter asked.

"Wow! You're psychic! I just got a message for you from the chief." she replied.

"What did he say?"

"That Agent Smith has been taken off the Hans Peterson case, and that he wants you to keep a close eye on Agent Smith so that he doesn't do anything rash and stupid."

Agent Porter's cellphone rings, he picks it up, "Sir, I'm calling from the Metropolitan Correctional Centre, we need you to come here and sign on Mr.Peterson's release papers."

"This is Agent Porter here, do not release Hans Peterson, do you get me, under no condition are you to release him!"

"B..But s..sir, we already did, he was being escorted by Agent Smith and he said he had got clearance from the director, we called you only to close the case. They left ten minutes ago."

*******

Ten minutes back

Peter and Hans get into the Toyota Corolla parked outside the building, Brian is sitting in the driver's seat.

"Okay, step on it!" Peter exclaims.

Brian gets the car onto the street and floors the accelerator, dodging cars in front of them and ignoring all traffic rules and regulations.

"What's going on?" Hans screams while holding onto the seat in front of him.

"We're breaking you out of jail!"

"What do you mean by breaking me out, I was released by a CIA agent, the warden greeted me as I left for god's sake!"

"Yeah, it's kind of complicated" Peter said.

Brian stops the car in a deserted warehouse.

"Welcome home!" Smith said.

"You call this home? You said we were going to stay at your father's property!" Brian exclaimed, while taking in the surroundings.

"We've commited a felony, you think we can stay at the Renaissance? The chances of being caught here is very low."Peter replied.

"Now can someone please tell me what is going on!"

"I think it'd be better if you do it" Brian said to Peter.

"Well, a detailed analysis of the video showed that the video was made even before any problem developed in Flight-102. This clearly shows us that Flight-102 was indeed sabotaged, and that the person behind this knew that the government will try to cover it up. The fact that you're in Chicago at that time, and your background excludes you from suspicion, hence we brought you out."Smith explained.

"Then what did we do wrong, why are we hiding?" Hans asked.

"Unfortunately, the test on the disk had been done by me without the permission of the director, and as a result I was taken off the case when I released you from prison, making you a fugitive and us an accesory to the crime. Hence, my son is with my in-laws, and we're here in my father's warehouse." Peter replied.

"But why are you helping me?"

"Because I need your help, but first we need to find out who is doing this, and stop him before he strikes again."

"Sir, Smith sprung-out Hans from jail before I got your message, they are missing now."Porter said.

"I had warned him, but he still did it. I've no choice left, get them yourself, dead or alive. Start looking at Brian Johnson, he's Hans' closest friend, Hans might try to contact him."

Thank you for reading this story this far. I'm sorry that I didn't update for the past week, but I was a bit busy with my exam results coming out, and the associated celebrations; so you get the drift. I'll soon upload another chapter of "Down the Revolutionary Road" today itself, and most probably upload another chapter tomorrow.

Meanwhile, please
