"You can't go out there now. I need to gather witches' remains and consecrate them. If i don't get them before sundown, we'll lose the link to their magic." Hayley leaned in the doorframe as Sophie practically begged Klaus.
"Those witches tried to kill Hayley," Klaus glared at her. "I'd prefer for Marcel's informant not to find anything that would lead him back to us, to her, or you know..." he pointed at her stomach. "That."
"You're all class, Klaus, you know that?."
Klaus pointed at Sophie as he began to walk away. "Stay put," she threw her hands up. "And save the rest of your story 'til I return."
Hayley leaned closer to Rebekah so she could talk quietly without Sophie hearing as the witch stood up. "I think we should follow her."
Rebekah considered it for a moment before shaking your head. "I will, you stay here. If you get hurt and it's on me he'll dagger me again, or worse."
"Emma," Hayley pouted.
"Cleo."
"As long as I don't get kidnapped, we're fine. You won't get daggered, Em. In the worst case, If you do, I'll find your body and take it out."
Rebekah sighed. "Fine."
Later, Hayley walked into the mausoleum where Sophie was packing her bag.
"What the hell?" Sophie turned around.
"You're going out there. I want to go with you." Hayley crossed her arms.
"No thanks. Already got harassed by Klaus once this morning. Don't need a repeat." Sophie told her, shaking her head. "Really don't want to deal with that again."
"What if whatever is responsible for all those dead witches is out there? We've established it likes me and doesn't like witches, so you'll be safer with me there."
"Sorry if I'm not buying your sudden concern for my safety."
"I don't have any concern for your safety." Hayley blocked the exit. "I care for your life-force, however."
Sophie's eyes widen slightly.
"Don't take it personal, darling." Rebekah announced, walking into the mausoleum and standing next to her friend.
Hayley shrugged. "The reason I came to this town in the first place was to learn about my family in the first place. Your sister is the one who told me Marcel ran the werewolves out of the Quarter into the Bayou. So, call it curiosity. I'm coming with you."
Sophie sighed.
"Look, we all heard Klaus." Rebekah started. "He and Marcel will be heading right where you're going."
