Finally the end of the day was here. I walked over to my locker and typed in my combination but it didn’t open. Fuck. What was my combination? I only reset it last week. I tried again. Nothing. I’m sure it was 14994. Drat! I started smacking at the locker door in frustration until a hand tapped my shoulder. I spun around. Harry! He probably saw me flip out and had come to ask why I hadn’t been sent to an asylum or something.
“Why are you hitting my locker?” he asked grinning slightly. His grin was the cutest thing. The way his face sort of completely lit up and his ey- wait his locker. I suddenly felt my face go bright red as I realised my locker was the one to the left of me. I gave a small nervous laugh and turned to run away and find a cliff to jump off or at least some traffic to play in. just as I was about to leg it he grabbed my hand causing me to die then to come back to life.
“Please, don’t worry about it. It’s fine” he said giving me a flash of that cute smile of his. I desperately wanted to say something that would cause him to want to spend time with me. Then it came to me.
“Stephen tells me that you’re pretty good at maths, I was wondering if maybe sometime you would want to help me out with a few topics”
“Umm sure. I’ll meet you at the school gate tomorrow after school and we can go through a few things then okay.”
“ Okay. Sure” I said smiling at him and myself. I had done it. He smiled back then turned and walked off down the corridor. I leaned against the lockers and sighed. My life has just gotten better.
