Gwen started swinging around with her webs, Y/n was doing the same next to her as she said <<What was that?>>. Gwen glanced at her for a second and then looking away, she kept swinging, saying <<I'll explain, just let's get somewhere hidden.>>.
Y/n frowned slightly but followed her, as both of them got in an abandoned building together. Immediately, Y/n took her mask off, trying to get some air as Gwen did the same.
<<You didn't come her for any mission or to check on the Spot, did you?>> Y/n asked, looking at her. It was obvious Gwen's guilt face and trying to explain <<I mean... I was here for it but- I uh...>> she tried to find some rights words to say to the woman in front of her.
There were so many things she couldn't say. Miguel didn't want to let Y/n know.
All of the suddent, her watch made another sound as the holographic figure of Jess appeared behind the young ghostspider <<Gwen hi.>> she saluted with her usual smile and happy behavior <<Whatchu doing?>>. Gwen eyes widened, she was so tense that she started stuttering with her too, she gesticulated and tried to show a relaxed face <<Nothing... ah good. Good... hm, everything all good. Uhm... bye->>. She immediately closed the call, turning to Y/n.
But the figure of Jess appeared again, seeing Y/n and pointing at her <<Wait why's she here?>>.
<<I just followed her.>> Y/n answered with a dry answer <<I know she wasn't here for a mission or anything.>>
<<Uh uh actually she was.>> Jess said. Gwen tried to walk away but Jess holographic figure kept following her <<Where's the bad guy you were supposed to monitor?>>.
She hesitated for a moment, just then saying <<I just let him go for a moment...>>
Immediately Jess knew what was going on, scolding her <<Dude!>>.
<<Oh but he's just some villain of the week!>> Gwen tried to justify herself, as saying The Spot was nothing to warry about. Jess rolled her eyes and called for help <<Lyla!>>
Gwen's eyes widened, moving her hands <<No no no!>>. But the small figure of Lyla appeared, knowing what she had to do <<Tracking...>>. Gwen sighed and closed her eyes, knowing she was screwed. Lyla showed a map that was tracking The Spot's movements. He was the red dot that was showing somewhere, and she pointed at it <<Oh I got him. Oh no wait he's here- no, nevermind- here- ah!>> then the red spot started showing in another part of the map, then another part, then another one again <<Woah slippery guy.>>
Jess sighed and turned to look at Gwen <<Did you go see your little friend?>>.
<<No what? Miles... ah I mean...>> Then Gwen's words trailed off, trying to cover her face in embarassment of her action. Jess' eyes widened <<Are you kidding me right now?>>.
<<Only briefly! From afar>> Gwen tried to defend herself.
<<How far?>> Jess asked raising an eyebrow in a suspicious way.
The young girl blushed <<Like ah... this?>> her hands showed a part of big space space. Y/n looked at her <<Closer. More close.>> she said, showing the reality of the facts. In fact, Gwen's hands got really close.
<<Woah that's way too close>> Lyla commented.
<<You saw 'em?>> Jess asked Y/n, who simply nodded. The woman sighed as scoffed at Gwen <<Girl, I told you to be careful.>>.
<<Listen I needed to know how he was.>> Gwen confessed. Jess kept shaking her head <<I honestly can't believe you.>>.

<<Listen->> Jess tried to talk back but Lyla interrupted them <<Guys, guys, look. He's making his own portals. He can jump wherever he wants. He can be an universes destroyal.>>.
<<What the hell is he doing this for?>> Jess tried to do not curse, sighing and wondering.
Gwen eventually stepped forward <<I'll get him okay? I can get him.>>

<<Don't tell Miguel. He'll kick he out of there. What if he sends me home?>> Gwen said allarmed, tried to mask her worry and her fears.
Jess side eyed the young spiderwoman, thinking about her words. The red dot on the map kept moving, as Lyla kept tracking the enemy. Y/n stayed there and waited, as Jess met her eyes. Just then she spoke <<In which Earth is he?
<<Earth-50101, Mumbattan.>> Lyla affirmed.
Jess looked at Gwen and spoke to Lyla <<Allert the local spider that Gwen will come for backup.>>
<<I'm on it.>> the A.I. affirmed as there could be heard a satisfied breath by Gwen, muttering a "thank you" and wearing her spider mask againg. Just then Jess opened a portal for Gwen, and commanded to Y/n <<You, come back to the SpiderSociety.>> and her holographic figure disappeared, so did Lyla.
Gwen looked at Y/n with pleading eyes. Y/n sighed <<I won't say a word about it.>> she didn't hesitate, opened her own portal and got back to the Spider Society, leaving Gwen at her mission on Earth-50101.
And there she wondered in her own thoughts. There were too many things she didn't know. Why was she the only one to be left in the dark by such important informations?
Was there somebody that she could actually trust?
