It was a cold dark night, everyone was already inside but Garth. Garth is a tall and powerfully built man. He has long raven black hair. His skin marks him as a barbarian from the south. He wears thick furs to ward off the chill of the night. "I would not be here if it weren't for her," Garth says "She isn't even from my clan. Yet why do i keep following her to these places." looking over his shoulder to the inn behind him. As Garth looked back at the inn he saw figures moving out of the door. Garth knew what had happened. He turns around and starts back for the inn. "She gets us thrown out of very inn we try to rest in." he grumbles.
When Garth arrives at the front of the inn, many of the patrons have formed a circle around two people. Garth knew who one of those persons would be.
The fat man, who had groped her thinking her one of the many whores, stands in front of her. He has a dagger in his hand. She knew that he was to drunk to use it correctly. He lunges towards her, dagger leading the way. She is quick to move to the left to get out of the drunks way. The man slashes to the left as he lumbers by, scoring a hit on her belly. She quickly checks the wound, just a scratch. As she is about to jump on to the man's back he turns and thrust his dagger forwards
"Hera!" Garth cries above the yelling of the patrons. he shoves his way forward towards the man. just as he enters the ring Hera falls gripping her belly. Garth charges the drunk. he swings at the man hitting him in his head. there was a sickening crack as the mans head snapped to one side.
"Great job." a voice behind Garth said. Garth didn't turn around knowing what had happened. Hera had faked getting hurt so that he would come to her aid, again. Garth's face turns red from embarrassment. He pushes his way through the ring of stunned patrons. Hera quickly follows him. "Where are you going?" Hera calls after him. "Just leave me allow." Garth says without turning to look back at her.
