Macau's pov

That's one messed up forest , I saw Kim sitting on the rocks with a stick on his hand , tracing whatever it was on the muddy ground

I let out a sigh

I wonder if Phi found Porchay , if he didn't , he might not survive for long here , it's hard to live in this forest , it's filled with monsters

And that thing in the cave , if I wasn't careful around , I would've get my lungs sucked by it , judging by it , it looks like tentacle or something like that , I hope we don't fell on that thing again , if those things that can copy one's self are scared of it then we should be on our guard

"You're bleeding"

I raised my eyebrows , looking at him

"What?"

"You're bleeding"

I looked at my leg , I didn't noticed it

"I don't remember getting scratched or wounded"

I said , honestly I only fell down yesterday in the cave trying to escape that monster

"It must be an internal bleeding , sometimes it take a day for the body to react"

I feel like I learn something from him each day , he ruffle through his pocket , giving me a tissue

"Tie it with the wound tightly , it will stop the bleeding"

I mumble a thanks and took it from him , I sat down

I wonder how they're doing , if Porchay is safe

"We should go look for the others"

He said as he stood up

"The chance of you and I getting killed in this forest is 95% , only 5% of people could've gotten away , here is dangerous , I'm just hoping Vegas found your brother , if not , he'll be meat for the living thing here"

He stayed silent , I let out a deep sigh , I feel like I'm with a toddler

"Fine , we'll search for them , keep your knife in your pocket safely , don't lose it"

He nodded , he's smooth with hiding knife with him , just like Porchay , he got it from his older brother I guess , always hiding knife and cutters with them

Although the knife he had was small , it seemed sharp enough to cut through someone

It's better than nothing

"Let's go"

I took the bag with me and started walking , we got back on our tracks , the fog was back

I'm glad I found the rope , I won't be losing him for now 

"If you hear something , don't run away , there are a lot of living thing here , some are dangerous and some are not but if you see someone , just tell me"

"Okay"

He's more silent than usual

Must be worried about his brother , I hope I find him soon , alive and well

Vegas's pov

"Can you tell me why you're holding my sleeve?"

"So we don't get lost"

I said , this forest is shit as far as I know , it's concerning at how this became a forest in the human world

"Don't you have a better idea?"

"Do you have a better idea?"

And there , he was silent again , it's better to hold him than getting lost

"If we get lost , it'll be hard to look for each other , we must find a rope if we want to stay together"

"Where would you find a rope in here?"

"Many people came here , got lost and die , got killed by those things here or even die of suffocation here"

I saw a cave infront of us

"I don't think it's a good idea going in there"

He's right but we need some supplies to survive here

"It's better if we found something in there , a rope or other things that could come to help"

I saw him staring at me

"That's creepy , let's go in and stay near me"

We went closer and saw that the cave was a little deeper than I thought

"I'll go first"

I said as I jump and landed on my feet , I look around the surrounding , there were nothing , only rocks

I signal him to come down and he did

The cave smells weird

A smell that was nasty

"Let's go deeper"

I said and he nodded

As we went inside , the cave got bigger , that's not what I was expecting but as long we don't get lost

We saw some dead people in here , drenched on blood and something like black ink

I found a bag , rustling through it , I found some can food , they were not expired yet , I throw the bag at him

"There's food in there"

We adventure further , I found many thing but no rope in sight

A hand grabbed my arm , it was shaky , I furrowed my eyebrows

I looked at him , what was he doing , he pointed down

My eyes widen , what the fuck was that?

A mix of octopus or something? Porchay's hand was shaking and he was sweating

I covered his mouth with my hand , telling him to not make a sound

That thing look disgusting , shit , it was infront of us , circling us
