Chapter 15: Balcony

"Hey Lilly wait!" Jimin shouted as he chased her over the beach.

Lilly laughed and continued running until he caught her by her waist and held her tightly.

"Gotcha" he said and smiled.

Lilly smiled too and the sight made his heart melt.

She leaned her head against him and he placed his head on hers.

The sun was slowly falling already, making the water look magical.

The two walked over to some big rocks, climbing onto them and watching the almost-sunset.

Lilly rested her head on Jimin's shoulder, making him smile like an idiot.

He intertwined their fingers while leaning his head against hers.

"I love you" he whispered.

"I love you too" she whispered back.

Jimin turned his head a little to look at her.

Lilly slightly lifted her head from his shoulder, returning the gaze.

Jimin leaned closer, placing a hand on her cheek.

Right when their lips were about to meet, he felt something on his head.

'Huh? What-'

Jimin's eyes snapped open.

He felt numb and dizzy at first but then he was feeling something on his head.

'What-' he thought but then realized where he was.

In that hospital room.

Wait. Does that mean.....? He was completely disoriented.

Jimin lifted his head.

Yes.

Yes she was here.

Right in front of him.

Looking into his eyes.

Jimin's heart stopped for a moment.

Is this real? Am I still dreaming?

Their eyes were locked.

He could clearly see her.

But he didn't believe this was real.

He must be dreaming.

"Lilly..."

His voice broke.

He felt tears appearing in his eyes.

No, this can't be real.

But Lilly smiled at him.
