The morning after
Daniella's eyes slowly opened as she woke up from her sleep. But, she was immediately hit with a pounding in her head that felt like a drum. Clearly going out was not a good idea. It never does seem like one in the morning. Dan turned round in the bed to see if Kaci was awake and needed a hangover fry up too. As she turned over, Daniella discovered that Kaci wasn't there. She scanned the room to see is she already got out of bed.
'This room doesn't look like how I remember it.' thought Dan.
As she came to her senses she realised that the shower was running and knew it must be Kaci. Dan got out of bed and made the way to her travel bag that she put in the corner, on top of a small table, yesterday. She hoped that there would be paracetamol in there as her head was pounding harder by the second. But once she got to where she thought it was in the room, it wasn't there. There was no bag. There was no table. Surely she had had too many shots because Daniella didn't even recognise her own Hotel room.
'Maybe this isn't my hotel room.' contemplated Dani. But, she was immediately brought back to reality when there was nobody else that this room could belong to. 'Seriously, Dani. Less vodka next time.' she thought.
By this time she had heard the shower turn off, and could hear the Bathroom door behind her begin to open. So she turned around as she spoke.
"Kaci, am I going insane because this is not... HOLY SHIT!" shouted Dan.
Okay, this definitely wasn't Daniella's hotel room.
"Morning." said Dec.
He was wearing a towel. Just a towel. Dani found it really hard to have a conversation with him about why the fuck she was in his hotel room when her eyes kept travelling to where they weren't supposed to.
"What... I mean morning... But, what. Why am i here... where's Kaci." said Daniella with panick.
"woah woah woah. Calm down, it's okay. Kaci is in your hotel room."
"Wait. So why am I here?"
"Well. You got a tad drunk last night Dani." replied Dec.
"Oh no. No, no no no. Gods sake. But still. Why am I here, and not with Kaci?" asked Dan.
"Kaci ditched you when you were drunk. Went off with some James guy. She said that you would know who he was."
Daniella was completely used to this. Now, she remembered why going out with Kaci was not that much of a good idea after all.
"Look i know it's none of my Business." said Dec. "But i don't think a friend should do that when you are that drunk."
"How drunk was i? And i want the truth. Even if it makes me want to bury myself alive."
"Well. Let's say this, I don't think you're going to want to drink again. For a while."
Daniella put her hands over her face is completely embarrassment. SERIOUSLY WITH THE EMBARRASSMENT. She rubbed her eyes and hoped that this was just a dream but once she stopped, she was still stood in the same place.
"And then you... never mind." said Declan.
"What?" asked Daniella curiously.
