~ Samyrah's POV~
🌺Sometimes, things don't work out . Not because you don't deserve it, but because you deserve so much more 🌺

Each of her words accumulate in my mind as if I am stuck in a loop causing my blood to boil with each passing second.

'She really doesn't care' I admit to myself. My heart throbbing vigorously against my rib cage.

Feeling a hand on my shoulder, I am drawn from the confinement of my mind to that of reality.

Quickly turning around, I blink back the tears I had no idea was building up.

"I am sorry but I have been saying excuse for the past couple minutes but you didn't seem to be conscious" the person voice and I look up realizing I am standing in front the yogurts on the shelves.

'Crap,' feeling my fingers cramped I look over the yogurt in my hand putting it in the basket.

'How long have I been standing here?'

Swallowing the lump in my throat I massage my fingers opening my mouth to apologize.

The words stuck on my lips as I recognize the person standing before me.

"Babe you got the ......" trailing off our eyes connect like the struck of lightening and I grip the handle of the basket tighter.

Clearing my throat, I move away from the shelf giving her a clearer view of the items.

"Sorry " I apologize, walking off down the aisle to continue my pity party shopping.

"Samyrah right!" she calls loud enough and I stop turning to face them both.

Her hands rest on her visible baby bump. A sly smile stretch across her cheeks curving into that of a mischievous one.

"Yeah " I answer my eyebrows quivering upwards

'She has never spoken two words to me before so why now?'

Seeing her dig into her bag for something I look to the side seeing him keenly watching my every movements.

"Here " she steps forward handing me a card

Chuckling, I look over the wedding invitation in my hand.

'She got some nerve flaunting this at me' I hiss in my mind fighting the urge to roll my eyes.

Looking at her with a smile I place the card in my bag looking behind her.

"Congratulations " I say to him more than her.

"Thank you" she gushes as if she won at something.

"I can't make any promises but I will try and honor this invitation " I lie through my teeth with the biggest grin on my face "I do also wish you a safe delivery. You just about look ready to pop at anytime now."
