Late bloomer- 3

I'll be honest I never thought I'd be in the police office and hospital on the same day.

After being questioned at the police office me and yoko were sent the the hospital to patch up some small wounds.

Right now I'm sitting on a hospital bed next to yoko whos being treated and I'm having my blood drawn.

" little red are you feeling ok?"
"Yes" he say looking down. Yoko had always had something to say, he was a kid that liked to talk.

So now that he was almost completely silent, kind of scared me, but can I blame him? He was almost killed...

Not to mention, every one is dead,our mother and siblings are gone. I couldn't care less about those little shits,I'm glad their gone, I hope they burn in hell, but yoko for some weird reason still cares. Unlike me no matter how abusive they were, he still loved them.

This basically broke him.

I pull him into a hug, "don't worry everything's gonna be ok".

The doctors looked at me with a confused look, some staring at me while some stare at my scars.
After a while all of them left only leaving one.

"Young man it seems that you do in fact he a quirk, your just a late bloomer. But I've never seen a quick develop so late."

Yoko jumps up and down frantically" Hina you have a quick!" I pat his head smiling.
"I'm as happy as you are"
I look at the doctor, " whats it called?"

The doctor smiles at me and looks back at his computer.

"The name is red panda, you can turn into different forms of red pandas."

I could have guessed that from the ears and tail sticking out of me. Sadly I think their permanent.

I look at yoko who is now leaning on my shoulder.

I rap up my conversation with the doctor as a women walks in.

"Hello shio I'm Akane,you and your brother's social worker."

Then it hit me, what's going to happen to us, we have no relatives and our house is burned to the ground.

I guess she saw the worry on my face because she patted me on tha head.
"no need to worry honey we found you a home to stay in for the time being."

I sigh with relief.
To be honest I'm still worried but not much can be worst then our lives in that house.
