That night, I didn't know what happened because after my bath and a change of clean clothes, I fell asleep immediately. I woke up the next morning, or afternoon really, with a throbbing head and a note on my bedside table, next to two pills of painkiller and a big glass of water.

Please take two if you're still not feeling better by the afternoon, I put the rest in your drawer.

Call me if you need anything, feel better soon. -Minjeong

Massaging my scalp, I couldn't help but smile reading her cute little note and how she signed her name as Minjeong. It was already two o'clock, I checked my phone to find a few missed calls from my sister and some messages from her and Minjeong.

Tiffany:

Please tell me I was right..

Tiffany:

Please tell me the love affair you're having with is indeed with Minjeong.

Tiffany:

You can't avoid me forever!

Tiffany:

Minjeong told me she just got back, you're really sick?

Tiffany:

Call me when you see this, I'm worried.

I sighed, I should've opened Minjeong's text first to keep my mood from being sour. Seeing the last few messages from my sister, I saw that it was past midnight when she said that Minjeong just got back. I frowned, not liking the thought of Minjeong leaving my house so late in the winter night. I quickly swiped to see the woman's message.

Minjeong:

I hope you don't have any classes today, you need rest.

That was all she said, she really wanted me to rest. Thankfully, I didn't have any classes today, not that I would go even if I did because my face felt so sore, even the small smiles I couldn't help but made, triggered a great set of pain.

I sent the brunette girl a quick text.

Jimin:

I'm sorry I just woke up, I don't have any classes today so you don't have to worry.

Thank you for taking care of me til late, did you get home safely?

I took my time, swiping back to my sister's chat room but picked up the painkillers on the table before swallowing them and gulped down the water empty. My throat felt so sore, I tried to make it better but every sound I made just hurt it even more.

Jimin:

I'm fine, I can't call you, my head is already throbbing without hearing your voice.

I sent the text to my sister then waited for my head to settle and got used to the headaches before slowly getting up, and walked to the bathroom.

I looked like shit.

But the first thing I saw made me smile and winced at the same time. There was a little brown bandaid on the bridge of my nose, Minjeong must have put it on me last night. The spot around the covered one was colored matching with my cheek, that looked a bit purple-ish, not a lot, but definitely noticeable, and my eyes looked droopy even though I felt like I was opening them normally.

Gracing the bandaid softly, I brought my phone up to my ear after dialing Minjeong's contact. And after the second ring, she picked it up.

"Jimin, do you feel sick? Do you need something?"
