The night went by quietly. The couple went home at midnight when Minjeong was already sound asleep in my lap, the alcohol helped her forget her worry about getting embarrassed with showing affection in front of her best friend and her cousin. After they left, she sleepily agreed to move to the bed. And I kissed her goodnight.

Strangely, I woke up before her, it was seven in the morning and she was still sleeping. Her arm draped over my waist when I opened my eyes to the sunlight and I cuddled her for a little longer, not looking forward to letting her go before waking her up and telling her that she was planning to go to the shop. She looked gorgeous in the morning even after those hours of sleep.

We sleepily took a warm bath, slipped several heated kisses but didn't give in to our desires as I could see that Minjeong was having a little headache, probably because of the soju and the wine last night. I got her some painkillers after she got dressed and insisted that she still wanted to go to the shop, since Nichkhun's mom would be visiting.

We drove to the shop while holding hands, smiling and talking about Tiffany and Nichkhun. Before I knew it, I was walking her into the shop, greeted by the surprised faces of the workers. The owner told me to stay for a hot chocolate and I gladly obeyed.

Taking a seat across from mine with her own cup, she slid one in front of me and I thanked her with a grin. "That was the first time ever I overslept." Her nose crunched up cutely as she confessed.

"You can't handle alcohol that well, can you?" I held her hand on the table and squeezed it as I chuckled.

But she shook her head. "I've been told I'm a lightweight." She bit her lip, "But it wasn't because of that, I just had a great sleep."

Taking the obvious meaning of her words, my stunned face slowly brightened. "I didn't sleep that much." I said. "I couldn't stop watching you."

She grinned and shook her head. "Creep." She jokingly laughed out as I kept staring at her with a smile but secretly hoped that she knew that I wasn't joking around.

The shop surprisingly got crowded fast. People walked in with their family, partner and friends filling up the tables, even some took the outside seats, enjoying their meals in the winter wind. I smiled at the sight as I also felt warm inside by the realization that for the first time, I was spending my holiday morning with my girlfriend, twice in a row.

It got busier and busier, and Minjeong sensed that she might be needed because some of her staff were away for the holiday, so I told her that I should be going too. She walked me back out to my car and sent me away after I told her I'd pick her up and drove her back home in a few hours. She also gave me a sweet peck on my cheek.

I drove home smiling unstoppably.

I realized that my plan wasn't perfect when I arrived home. There was nothing I could do to stop my whining over not seeing Minjeong for a few hours. With that, I also realized that I had become needy. I had never longed to see someone like this. Not even my father who I started to forget how he looked.

Busying myself with tidying up my living room, doing the laundry and reading the books I hadn't had any chances to read, I kept looking at the clock to see if it was time for me to pick my girlfriend yet. But time barely passed. So I tried another teenager thing besides whining about not seeing my girlfriend. Play with my phone.

There were some messages from my classmates, probably asking about school projects. Scrolling down, I felt guilty when I realized that I had not read Hyunjin's message yet. I had some free time and maybe it would be good to talk to him more to get things back to normal. I checked his last message before typing a quick reply.
