Avery's POV

The ride home was quiet, the only sound the hum of the engine as it carried us away from the chaos of the grand hall. Tyrone was nestled in my lap, his little fingers clutching at my toga, while Tyler sat beside us. Secretary KC sat silently next to Tyler, her gaze focused on the road ahead.

The tension in the car was palpable, each of us lost in our own thoughts. My mind raced with everything that had happened which is the revelation, the press, the emotions of my family and friends.

Nagtagumpay si Analea sa plano niya. But despite the whirlwind, a strange sense of relief settled over me. The truth was out now. There was no more hiding.

A few minutes from now, our family will be in an article, and more people will know what happened. Bubulabugin na naman kami ng mga reporters niyan.

Tyler broke the silence. He looked at me and asked, "How did you end up in the front earlier? Did you know the pictures would be flashed on the white screen?"

I nodded. "Someone texted me. The text said there was a surprise for me after your speech. That's why I ran to go to the backstage to try and stop it, but I didn't make it in time."

He frowned. "Who would text you?"

I stared at him for a few seconds before looking away. "I don't know if you'll believe what I'm about to say."

I looked at him again, and I could see the confusion on his face. "What do you mean?"

"Earlier at the salon, Analea and I had a conversation. I don't know how she found out about my illness. She threatened me, saying she had a surprise for me at the graduation. She also said she'd do everything to get you back."

I saw the shock on his face. He was silent for a moment, staring out the window.

I knew he wouldn't believe me. He sees Analea differently from how she acts now. Nakilala niya si Analea na mabait at hindi gagawa ng masama sa kapwa nito. Pero ngayon iba na, ibang ibang na siya sa dati.

"So, you think Analea was behind the pictures being flashed on the white screen?" he asked, still looking out the window.

"Yes," I replied. "She also admitted to cutting the fence, letting the wild boar loose when we were at the farmhouse. She's the woman in the CCTV footage."

I saw him clench his fist and shake his head in disbelief. He probably couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"I have nothing to gain by making this up. Just believe me this time. Just this once, Tyler," I added, feeling hurt.

Why does he always have to doubt me when it comes to Analea?

He remained silent, staring at the road for several minutes, deep in thought.

As our house came into view, he spoke again. "I will have Analea investigated. I'll find out how she got into the farmhouse and how she learned about your illness."

My eyes widened in shock. "R-Really? You believe me now?" I asked. He took my hand, smiled, and simply nodded.

As we pulled into the driveway of our home, I wasn't surprised to see our parents' and friends' cars following closely behind. Tiyak madami silang tanong na gusto nilang masagot.

We stepped out of the car, Tyler helping me as I still held Tyrone close. Our parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sandoval, along with my mom and dad, approached us with worried expressions. Mark, Lucas, Caleb, and Ruth followed, their faces a mix of concern and confusion.

We all gathered in the living room. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation and unspoken questions. I took a seat on the couch, Tyrone still in my lap, his innocent eyes looking around the room.
