Meya stood infront of her mirror as her maids helped her get dressed for the supper that was gonna be held with her family and the greens.
She looked pale, her eyes were stuck watching her reflection and didn't say a word. She was deep in her thoughts of how much she didn't want this. Want this future, life, marriage, anything really.

One of her handmaiden's by the name Serena smiled at her as she was finished dressing Meya. "You look lovely" she said with a wide smile on her face trying to get the princess in a better mood. Meya gave a weak smile and took a deep breath. She was dressed in a long light green dress with white and gold details all around the edges. The dress had short sleeves and the skirt of it was so long it touched the floor. Her hair was put into a half braid that Serena had done. She wore the necklace that her mother got from Daemon years ago when she was around the same age as herself. She fiddled with is as she looked down to the floor. "I don't want to do this, Serena" she let out making her handmaiden turn to her with a sweet yet sad smile on her face. "I know princess. But there is nothing much to do. And even iff your family will depart when the wedding is over, you'll still have me. And also Ser Finn. And do not forget your sweet aunt Helaena." Serena said put her two hands on Meya's shoulder and looked at her in the mirror. Meya took Serena's hands in hers and leaned her had against hers. They stayed there for a moment before a knock was heard from the door.

The door opened slowly and revealed Ser Finn. "Forgive me, princess. But Supper is about to start." He said and stepped out. Meya pulled away from Serena and began walking out of her bed chambers. She walked slowly with her head down looking at the floor with a nervous look on her face.

Once they reached the hall Meya stopped infront of the giant doors and took a deep breath. It was either now or never. Her mind kept telling her to run back to her chambers and forget the supper but she knew she couldn't do that.

She slowly opened the door and stepped inside the giant hall. Everyone were already there, watching her as she slowly began walking. Meya could feel the eyes burning on her. She saw the man with short silver hair again. She meet his gace she she walked quickly over to the last empty seat, with was right beside him. Once she sat down it hit her. This wasn't just any kind of man.

It was Aegon.

"Meya! How wonderful to see you, my dear." The king said as he looked at her with a weak smile. Meya returned it but the gold mask that hid half of his face got her attention. "It's lovely to see you to, grandshire" she said and reached for the cup infront of her and took a sip.

Meya learned over some conversations she made with her brother Jace and her sister Baela that they were to be married soon aswell. The same with Luke and Rhaena. Meya smiled over the news. She knew that they all were a perfect match for one another. More of a perfect match than what she herself got.

"How's life treated you over the last six years, my sweet nice?" Aegon said making Meya's head turn to her. His one hand was resting over hers as she gave him a blank expression. She gave a weak smile and turned her eyes over to their hands touching. "It's been fine, I suppose" she said feeling his eyes on her, burning into her skin. "I suppose you've had a blast over the six years. With me and my brothers gone".

Aegon rolled his eyes and removed his hand from her and reached for his cup of wine instead. Meya remembered from her youth how he would down dussin of cups. Despite Alicent lecturing him not to do so, he would still continue doing it.

Toasts were held by the table. From Viserys, Rhaenyra, Alicent and jace for an example. "How are you holding up, sweet sister?" Baela whispered into Meya's ear. The princess gave her a weak smile as she played with the food with her fork. She had lost her appetite and didn't wanna be in the hall for another any longer. "Excuse me for a moment" Meya asked as she stood up. She turned her face to Ser Finn who gave her a nod and followed after her as they exited the room.

"Were are you going, princess?" Ser Finn called out to her as Meya where a few steps ahead of him. "Anywhere that isn't here" Meya called back and now began running through the castle.

"Princess!"

Meya ran as her feet could carry her. Flashbacks of memories began to appear in her mind making her smile a little of her younger self running down the exact same hall. Her hair were flying with the wind as she ran out of the garden and then down the steps to the giant beach.

Once she had reached her destination she fell to her knees. Tears were forming in her eyes and sobs escaping her mouth. She didn't know iff she was sad or happy with being back in King's Landing by that moment. It would be her forever home from now on. Something that she didn't know iff she truly wanted or not.

A few feet behind her stood Ser Finn with one of his hands resting on his sword, looking down with nothing but pity and sadness at princess. He wanted to comfort her but couldn't, beacause he knew that Meya wanted to grief.
Grief over her freedom taken away from her.

A roar was heard from the sky by shortly after. A roar of a dragon flying over the city of King's Landing and were nearing the beach. Meya moved her gace from the sand infront of her to the large dragon flying over her and then landing before her. It was a dragon she had never seen before.

"Princess it's not safe here anymore for us to be alone" Ser Finn said with a nervous voice ready to draw his sword out. Meya raised a hand to him meaning for him to be quiet. Her eyes locked with the dragon before her. She nearly lost her breath over how gorgeous they were. The moment was later ruined when a voice was heard far behind them.

"Meya!"

The dragon roared making Meya get caught of guard falling backwards on the sand. The dragon flapped its wings making the sand go everywhere.   Meya covered her eyes making sure to keep the sand out from getting in her eyes. She propped her self up only to find the dragon near her.
It opened its gap for Meya to se it lighten up for a moment.

Shit.
It was about to burn her.

With a yelp Meya was thrown to the side by someone when the dragon made a loud roar and shot fire. The dragon roared once more before flapping its wings and began flying up to the sky and disappear to the ocean.

Meya opened her eyes slowly and sat up with a hand to her head. She winced and got up to her feet. She looked around her surroundings, seeing Ser Finn along with two of the guards of the greens by his side. Meya furrowed her eyes in confusion until she looked down to see who it was who had threw her out of the way from being burned to ashes.

And to her suprise.

It was Aegon.
