Eleanor's Perspective:

Eleanor's heart pounded as she crept through the dark, abandoned building. Her footsteps were silent, her breathing shallow, every nerve in her body on edge. The only light came from the dim glow of a single bulb in the room where Blair was being held. She could hear the men's voices, low and menacing, discussing the ransom they would demand from Blair's wealthy parents.

She reached the door and peeked inside. Blair was cuffed to a chair, her face pale and strained. Emma and the two men were talking in the corner, their backs to her. Eleanor knew she had to act quickly. She pulled her phone from her pocket, checked that the police were still on their way, and slipped it back. She couldn't wait for them; Blair needed her now. Her Blair.

Eleanor took a deep breath, gathered her courage, and stepped into the room. "Let her go," she said, her voice firm and unwavering.

The men turned, surprise and anger flashing across their faces. Emma's eyes widened in shock. "Eleanor? What are you doing here?"

Eleanor didn't waver. "I said, let her go. The police are on their way. You can't get away with this."

One of the men stepped forward, a sneer on his face. "You've got a lot of nerve, lady. Do you think you can just waltz in here and take her?"

Eleanor's heart raced, but she stood her ground. "Yes, I do. And unless you want to spend the rest of your lives in prison, I suggest you leave now."

The men hesitated, glancing at each other. The sound of distant sirens began to fill the air, growing louder by the second. The men cursed under their breath and, in a flurry of panicked movements, fled the room. Emma hesitated, looking torn between following them and staying.

"Emma, don't make this worse for yourself," Eleanor said softly. "Just go."

Emma looked at Blair one last time, then turned and ran, disappearing into the shadows. Eleanor rushed to Blair's side, her hands shaking as she fumbled with the cuffs. "Blair, are you okay? I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner."

Blair looked up at her, her eyes filled with tears. "Eleanor, you came. That's all that matters."

Eleanor finally managed to release the cuffs, and Blair slumped forward into her arms. She held her tightly, her own relief mingling with guilt. "Let's get you out of here."

Blair's Perspective:

As Eleanor helped her out of the chair, Blair felt a wave of relief wash over her. The fear and panic that had gripped her for hours began to ebb away. She leaned on Eleanor for support, her legs weak and unsteady. "Thank you," she whispered. "I didn't think anyone would come."

Eleanor squeezed her hand. "I couldn't leave you, Blair. I'm sorry I ever tried to distance myself."

Blair managed a weak smile. "It's okay. You're here now."

They made their way out of the building, the sound of approaching sirens growing louder. As they stepped into the cool night air, Blair felt a sense of calm she hadn't felt in days. She was safe, and Eleanor was by her side.

The police arrived moments later, their lights flashing in the darkness. They quickly surrounded the building, securing the area. An officer approached Eleanor and Blair, concern etched on his face. "Are you both okay?"

Eleanor nodded. "We're fine, but Blair needs medical attention. She's been through a lot."

The officer nodded, calling for an ambulance. As they waited, Eleanor kept her arm around Blair, offering her support and comfort. Blair leaned into her, feeling a sense of security and warmth she hadn't felt in a long time.
