Third pov."Come on Penelope! You're going to miss your flight! " Renee shouted after her daughter.
Penelope silently nodded as she made her way toward the entry gates of the airport. She looked back and waved to her mother who waved back and turned around to leave and grabbed phils hand as he looked to busy on the phone to notice she left.
Penelope sighed her chocolate brown hair in a messy bun and her mesmerising green eyes looked at the busy airport hall in front of her.
She suddenly felt small and Vurnable in front of the mass of people. She forced her self to walk, her grey hoodie clung to her small body , she tightened her hold on the suitcase she dragged along, her hands twiching to touch her upper arm to feel the jagged scar.
She forced her self to breath and turned her thoughts to her mother. Her childish and cruel mother.
Penelope was going to move to forks with her sister Isabella however renee held her back to get the award the school was going to give her for again acing in her studies.
Bella was her favorite, she knew that. Yet she can't bring in herself to hate her big sister.
Despite the unreplied messages with the seen mark or letter or emails.
Penelope doesn't remember the last time she talked to bella. Maybe it was the time she was in an accident. She tripped and fell out of the window of a hotel for her leg broken. It was a phone call, at that time Penelope had a biology test in New York. She was with her classmates. Even in the call bella was constantly zoning out.
It hurt sometimes to think about it.
Phil was never involved in raising she. So she never blamed him, raising children can be handful.
Mom always wanted me to give my best in everything. She never got the reassured smile and loving words when she didn't get the first place. Bella's summer started with trips and the random classes she wanted to join, ballet, swimming, book club, music club, beach trips etc,While mine started with crash courses, no trips , no clubs. She was a child, wanting her mothers attention. She wanted to see the same smile mom gave bells to her.
Penelope was quite opposite of my sister. She was always silent and awkward, she loved that about her. Always talking about classic books and songs.
She liked rock and classic both, and loved books too, animations, criminal etc. She knew how to handle a conversation. The past few years has been weighting on her.
The accident in new York. That's all it took to take everything away from her.
She've been trying to improve her state.Taking private therapy sessions, medication. Nothing helped much. She lost a lot of weight and her insomnia is reaching dangerous heights.
Mom noticed at some point, however she was good in hiding it. Always telling she was studying late night or forgetting to eat .
They always worked quite well. She is going to join the senior year in forks high school. She looked quite small for her age yet mature enough. She grew a few inches these past years. She was worried about her dad, she knew he would notice her change and behavior.
He told her he was gonna pick her as bella would be in school. Penelope only responded with an "that's great! " And the line cut.
No one knew about her accident in New York not even mom, and intended to keep it that way. No would care anyways.
Her eyes grew heavy halfway through the flight and sleep took over her. Her hand unintentionally reaching up to her well hidden scar, the reminder to her traumatic experience.
