Why do people bully? Why does bullying even exist! I mean if bullying didn't exist we wouldn't have this problem and we wouldn't even be talking about this right now.
Bullying exists because people aren't all the same, people are different.
We don't all have the same colored eyes
We don't all have straight hair
We don't all have the same colored hair
We don't all have.... well I could continue this list forever, because every single one of us is different. But today, I will be talking about one difference in particular:
We don't all have the same sexual orientation;
I am incredibly happy to say that the LGBT community is getting more and more accepted. You can't imagine how happy I was when I saw that same-sex marriage was now legalized throughout the US.
And before you ask, no I am not a lesbian. I just strongly think that it's not because you're a part of the LGBTQIA community that you do not have the same rights worlwide.
Sorry for using LGBTQIA without explaining it.
LGBTQIA is the whole community:
L-Lesbian
G-Gay
B-Bisexual
T-Transgender
Q-Queer ( a queer basically means you feel different from society)
I-Intersex
A-Asexual
A-Ally

I know it's weird that there's QIA at the end, i learned that from my gay friend 2 days ago and I'm still not used to it!
I'm an ally and I'm proud to be one!
Anyway, as I was saying, people are bullied because they're different and people are afraid. In this case, some people think it's a disease or a phase to be a part of the LGBTQIA community. Wich it's most certainly NOT!
You are borned the way you are. And each and every one of you is perfect just the way you are. You can't change that! You do not have to be ashamed of liking the same-sex or liking both-sex, because it defines you and makes you a beautiful person!
You can't reject someone because he's a part of the LGBTQIA. Trust me guys, having a friend like that is great. One of my friend is gay and he's one of my best friend. I hope you'll realize that it's a blessing to have a friend who's a part of the LGBTQIA and stop excluding them and rejecting them.
I love the LGBTQIA community. It's so tied together and so friendly.
Another problem is saying the truth to your family about who you are. My friend is scared of telling his family. He's scared of his family's reaction and I get why. I love my family and wouldn't be able to live without them in my life. But if I was a lesbian and they would shun me for being so, that's NOT okay. And I DO NOT want to get involved with those kind of people.
He's also scared because his family is religious, but listen to me:
Religion teaches people values and the big picture is to accept everyone the way they are, to have equality and justice for everyone and as we say in french -aimer son prochain-. And right now, we're denying that right to people of the LGBTQIA community.
Thank you for reading me and the LGBTQIA will obtain their rights ASAP.
Yours truly,
