AARON's POV

10 years have passed, Lee and I got married, Akalain mo naging endgame talaga kami. I can still remember the overflowing gladness I felt when I proposed to him 3 years ago.

It was a starry night and the moon was so bright reflecting on the wide surface of the beach, it was glistening beautifully. Habang siya ay abala na pagmasdan ang nakamamanghang kagandahan ng aming kapiligiran ay nakapako naman ang aking paningin sa taglay niyang karikitan na humigit pa sa lahat ng aming natatanaw. Kumikinang siya sa aking mga paningin, mula noon, hanggang ngayon... Siya lamang.

I just thought at that very moment when this beautiful person was standing beside me in a very quiet beach front surrounded by the beauty of nature, this timing is perfect.

Hinawakan ko ang kanyang mga kamay at ihinarap siya sa akin. His beauty never failed to amaze me, he is one of a kind. His eyes shining so bright, it has this kind gaze that always makes my heart at peace, his cute little nose and luscious lips that always make me want to claim him. I am ready... to make him mine forever.

I started kneeling in front of him habang hindi ini-aalis ang pagtitig sa kanyang mata, he just gave me a really confused smile.

"Anla bakit ka lumuluhod!" natatawa na lamang ako sa aking isipan dahil parang hindi pa siya nakakapanood ng isang proposal video.

"Lee, it's been seven years since we have been together..." his expression started to change, parang maiiyak na siya pero may ngiti pa rin sa kanyang magagandang mga labi. I think he knows what I am about to do...

"Those seven years with you and Adrian is one hell of a joyride. We had our tough times, happy times... we didn't have fun everyday, there are days when I know you cried, days when I got mad, jealous" I chuckled as I said those last words.

"But all of it was worth it because I did it all with you and I wanna thank you because you remained strong and held on to this relationship" tears started falling on his cheeks

"Lee, would you like to continue riding this roller coaster of life with me" I said, then pulled out a small box containing a 6 carat colourless emerald cut diamond with a platinum band signifying that my love for him is timeless. The brilliance of the gem shining in the night sky was to die for but it can never parallel the beauty of the person I am giving it to.

"Forever"

He cried, but in between the tears were chuckles, I know, he is happy.

"Will you be happy to walk in that aisle with my arms waiting for you at the end?"

He just gave a slow nod and accepted the ring I gave him.

"Of course" he finally said.

"There is no correct answer but yes Aaron" as he pulled me in for a sweet kiss.

"Thank you for choosing me" he whispered in my ears.

"Ikaw lang ang pipiliin ko sa araw-araw, sa hirap at ginhawa, you are the only for me" I answered then pulled him for another kiss, a more intense and hungry kiss than the first one. Ipinaramdam ko sa bawat paggalaw ng aking dila na siya lang ang minamahal ko at hinahangad ko. I want to make sure but by the end of this kiss, I am the only one he will look for, he will yearn for.

He looked at the ring wearing his beautiful smile.

"Napakaganda naman nito" pagpuri niya sa napili kong singsing

"Ikaw pa din ang mas maganda" pinalo niya ako ng mahina sa balikat, kunwari galit pero kinikilig naman.

"Ang mahal siguro nito parang mentos na yung bato sa laki" hindi ko na lang sasabihin sa kanya na 25 million pesos yung singsing dahil baka mag freak-out pa siya. Malaki yung bato, colorless pa, excellent cut at pure, walang inclusions idagdag mo pa na natural diamond... Of course hindi deserve ng mahal ko ang Lab-made.
