chapter seven

A week had passed since Daniella and Declan's kiss, and they hadn't spoken to each other since. Well, Declan had tried of course. Daniella wasn't trying to be rude, and she wanted nothing more than to respond to his texts but she knew if she did, she would have consequences to face. She sometimes thought that maybe she was being selfish, and thinking too much about her career rather than other people's feelings. But yet again, it was just a kiss and nothing more. Was she just overthinking this whole situation?

Dan had also been on this situation before with someone else, except that time is was slightly more than a kiss. She didn't have a relationship with them, but it still didn't feel right when she had the career that she did.

Dani was at home and it was Friday night. She was sitting on her sofa watching car crash TV whilst eating a chinese by herself. Dan didn't mind being by herself though, and to be honest she didn't really want to invite anyone round, especially Kaci. Lucy was out that night, Joe was with his family and Kaci, well, not that Dani asked her but was probably out at a club somewhere. Last week, Dan asked Kaci why she left her but she constantly avoided the question. Plus, she would always do this when they went out and Daniella didn't want to spend time with someone who she was currently a little angry at.

Dan went to grab the remote to turn the TV volume up, but her phone pinged for about the hundred time today, and there was no question as to who it was. But this time, she had had enough. So she decided to text him back.
