When Masato had came back to the apartment nothing had changed other than the sound of the shower going in the bathroom, he let out a sigh of relief hearing that she was showering. At least she was out of bed, he had the movers take his things to her room so he could be there with her. Once everything was in the room he went to check up on Rei only to see her curled up under the shower head as she had her hair over her body. 

Masato went towards her and felt the water only to feel just how cold it was, so he turned it off quickly before he grabbed a towel and placed it over her. "Rei...why are you doing this to yourself? Please...won't you talk to me?" Masato asked sadly as he knelt down close to her

"A....am I....Am I not worth your love and attention?" Rei asked weakly

Masato stiffened hearing her question to him, he wrapped the towel around her making her look at him sadly as tears ran down her face. Once she looked at him he cupped her face in his hand before kissing her passionately on the lips. Feeling his lips against hers made her brown eyes widened feeling just how he kissed her. As he parted his lips from hers he brushed her wet hair from her face, he then spoke up to her. 

"You are more than worth my love and attention Rei...I'm just a coward....a coward who doesn't deserve someone as special as you beside them. I should have known better than to think you'd be okay with what I had said that night. I'm sorry for ever placing bad thoughts into your head. I will always love just you. Please believe me." He said sadly to her

"I...I want to but I don't...I don't know if I can believe you. I wasn't asleep when you spoke to me earlier, I was just too weak to get up at that point in time or to open my eyes. Did...did you really move your stuff here with me?" Rei asked weakly as the sadness never left her eyes

"Of course I had, I need to stop cowering away from things that scare me just because I don't know what'll happen. From here on out we're going to be living here together, I want you to be safe somewhere. So I wouldn't have asked you to be where I was." 

Her brown eyes held a bit of emotion-but not enough for him to know she'd be okay. He knew he'd have a lot more to deal with before she'd trust him again like she had before. He picked her up effortlessly which freaked her out as she held onto him tightly flustered that he had done so. He took her to her room and placed her on the bed. When she was able to regain herself she noticed the boxes on the side of her room and stiffened up before she looked up at him. 

"Those yours?"

He nodded his head. "Mhm, I'll let you get yourself together before we talk more. Have you eaten anything since our date?"

"Not really...The most I've consumed are small snacks I keep near my bed that are all gone now. My depression got so bad that I couldn't get out of my bed for most things." She said sadly

He cupped her face into his hand before he kissed her on the lips. "Then I'm going to make you something while you dress yourself. Please know that I'm not just doing this because I feel guilty for making you so depressed, I'm worried and concerned for your physical health Rei."

She weakly gave him a small smile. "O...Okay."

Once he left her alone she got her panties and bra on before she went into her closet to grab her blue light stick. She then placed it back on her shelf and smiled a little. She wanted to trust him again, she wanted to be in love with him again-but she didn't want to trust him fully until she knew that he could handle what she hid from the public eye. Once the light stick was sitting in it's place she dressed herself in baggy clothing so her figure wasn't showing. She didn't feel attractive so the clothes she wore placed that out rather well.

After getting herself dressed she stripped her bed and began to wash her bedding. Once it was started up she went to the kitchen to see that Masato was cooking. So she went up to him and placed her head against his back as she held onto his jacket with her hands. "Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked sadly

He stopped cooking to look back to her. "Of course I'm sure, we're adults who are soul mates Rei. You're going to need to get used to being around me as I'm going to need to get used to you." Masato said with a smile "Anyways, being here with you makes things easier for me to keep an eye on your mental health and to keep you from doing anything that would keep us from one another."

She averted her eyes as she heard him speak. "If you're really that sure...then suit yourself. You're going to have to cope with a lot with me, you're going to learn a lot just by living with me."

"Well we are basically strangers to one another, it's going to take time for us to learn how the other works." He said with a smile "It'll be a process, but it's not something that I don't see being a problem."

Rei said nothing more as she let go of him and went to sit on her couch, she placed the TV on and watched it leaning against the arm of it. Wanting to not talk with him anymore than she had to until he earned her trust back completely.
