As Elena and I entered the office, we found it empty as it was still early. The security guard was the only person present. I told Elena to go inside as I needed to talk to the guard. I scolded him for leaving his post for just an hour, emphasizing that if I hadn't arrived on time, something bad could have happened to Elena.

After handling that, I went directly to my office and saw Elena working. I glanced at her a few times and noticed her stressed expression. Deciding to help, I stood up, went to her desk, and leaned against it, watching her project papers.

"Is everything okay? Do you need any help, Elena?" I asked.

She looked up at me and finally said, "Yes, I'm stuck on this part. I need help."

I then directed her to come into my office so I could assist her there.

Elena came into my office, and I helped her with her difficulties. After 20 minutes, we had resolved the issue, and I stood up to get some coffee for both of us. When I returned with the coffee, I found Elena lost in her work.

"Elena, here's your coffee," I said, placing the cup on her desk. I also handed her the medicines she had forgotten to take in the morning.

She looked at me in shock, and I explained, "You forgot to take these. The doctor said you need to take them for three days."

She thanked me and took the medicines. Just then, Nikki came in, greeted me, and informed me about my day plan. I asked her to cancel half of my meetings as I had some other work past 1:00 pm

After Nikki left, Elena stood up to leave. As she was about to walk out, I told her, "Elena, come back to my office once your work is completely done, without any minor mistakes."

She nodded and left. I wanted to keep her here, but I had no good reason for now. Watching her work passionately had become my job nowadays.

When Elena came back to my office with her completed work, I took the file and checked it. It was really perfect; she’s dedicated to her work.

Nearly close to lunchtime, I left the office and went directly towards one of my farmhouses where my men had kept Jackson. When I arrived, one of my men came and informed me that Jackson was awake. I patted his back and went inside.

Opening the door, I found Jackson tied to a chair in the middle of the room. It was an empty room, except for a table in one corner that held all the torture tools.

I went directly towards him. His eyes were closed, so I took some water and splashed it on his face. His eyes opened, and as soon as he saw me, his face drained of all color.

"Please, let me go, sir. Please, I'm sorry. I made a mistake. Please, let me go," he begged.

My face remained emotionless as I responded, "Mistake? You committed a sin, and sinners must be punished."
