"You know... Keith..." I murmur, narrowing my eyes as his face disgusts me.

"He cheated on me." I whisper and look down at my feet sadly.

"What??!" She squeals in shock, darting her hands upwards to claim her cheeks as she gapes at me. "What the hell?!"

I look at her and see her brows slowly meet together in the middle, anger twisting her face in a clear display of unrestrained disgust and fury. Her open palms form into fists.

"Okay that's it I have had enough with this douchebag! I'm going to fuck his entire day up when I go to school next week!" She lashes out, pointing her right index finger erratically at the air.

"What? No!" I oppose her idea, even though I honestly want that to happen, I do not want to make a scene and complicate things up.

"Why not??" She stares at me with astonishment.

"Um... Like what are you going to do?" I ask her.

"I will berate him and yell and uh- I don't know! Maybe I will kill him!" She stammers at some words.

"And then what do you think will happen? You will draw unwanted attention towards us, which is perfectly fine for him because he's the school's golden boy, every girl wants him, aren't they going to be a hell lot happier knowing he has gotten rid of me?" I reason with her.

She begins to stare into the void, overlooking my gaze with thoughtful features.

"Welp, you are not wrong." She admits, facing me.

"But what are you going to do? Let him be?" She blurts out.

"What else can we do? Nothing, of course." I shrug.

"I mean, not mentioning that jerk in front of me is already enough." I continue and crease my face.

"Okay..." She speaks lowly.

We stay quiet for a moment.

"Um... If you don't mind me asking, where did you go. Did you receive my texts and calls?" She breaks the silence, an inquiring look displays upon her face.

"Um yeah... About that." I sigh as my mind briskly skims through last night's events.

I'm fighting with my inner self about whether or not I should tell her about that guy... He clearly warned me not to, it was quite a frightening experience, he did look very scary and made my heart race in fear. I don't know what he's capable of and I don't have any intention of finding out either.

"Um... I ran away after you know, catching him red-handed. I kinda got lost..." I recite things slowly, making sure I give her the right details as she heeds raptly.

"I tried to phone you but my phone was somehow out of battery..."

"Fortunately for me, a very nice guy found me struggling with directions and offered me a ride home." I say as my mind focuses on the conversation with Sam last night.

"I see... Well that's really nice of him to do so." She smiles faintly, unsure if smiling is even suitable for the current sullen air.

Unexpectedly my phone's ring tone goes off.

I look down to see...

It's Keith.

"What the hell? Is he for real?" She exclaims, goggling at my phone.

"Give me that!" She snatches the phone out of my grip and starts to answer the call.

Slowly I turn my heels around away from her and slouch towards my bedroom, retreating as the same sickness arrives to my stomach. I leave the living-room and Catalina on the phone with him.
