It was a rainy day. Atsushi just got off work and decided to head home. He took his jacket and, being the last one in the office, locked the place and went home. On his way he met someone, not just anyone, it was Chuuya. Him and Atsushi have been friends since they met at a local bar. Although the ADA didn't know, they still sometimes hung out to get drunk.

-Heyy Chuuya, it's been some time. How are you? He asked, feeling happy that they met on that day.

-Oh Atsushi, i didn't expect to see you here at this hour, but i'm good. What about you? How are things at the agency? He didn't expect to see Atsushi out at this hour.

-I'm okay, don't worry. I just wanna lay on my bed, it's been an exhausting day, I had to do both mine and Dazai-san's work. He sounded somehow annoyed.

-That damn mackerel. That explains why you're out here so late. Chuuya replied with a clearly angry expression on his face.

-Yeah, well, i will head home now. Byee! Atsushi waved, giving Chuuya a slight friendly smile before going in his direction.

-See ya, Chuuya replied, almost inaudible before reaching for his phone to call somebody.

Once Atsushi got home, he decided to order some food. Kyouka was in Tokyo with Kenji for some mission, so he had to stay alone for a few days until she came back. He ordered some chazuke as it is his favorite food to eat.

While he was waiting, it started raining heavily. Atsushi was afraid of storms and the only thing he was thinking of was to go hide in his bed until it was done.

Half an hour later, someone knocked at the door. He thought that the food he ordered was here, but when he went down the stairs and opened the door, he found no one than

-Akutagawa??? What are you doing here and how do you know where I live?? He looked astonished as he saw Akutagawa at his door. Come in, you're gonna get soaked! Atsushi exclaimed, worried for his enemy as if they weren't fighting some days ago.

-I got your address from Chuuya, he is actually the one who called me to go to this address. I didn't think I'd meet you here. Akutagawa replied, confused as to why Chuuya, out of all people, would send him here.

He slowly came in, taking his shoes and jacket off before following Atsushi in.

-So, where do I put those? questioned Akutagawa, not really knowing what to do.

-You can just leave it on the hanger behind the door. Replied Atsushi, pointing at the hanger behind Akutagawa.

They went into what seemed like the living room, which was in the same room as the kitchen. Akutagawa went to sit down on the sofa. Soon after, Atsushi joined him with a bowl of popcorn that he made some minutes ago, hoping to watch a movie and forget about the storm.

-So, what will we be watching? asked Akutagawa, still unsure of what was happening.

-Should we watch some horror movies? Atsushi proposed, unsure of his decision because he was scared to watch one, but didn't want to look like a scaredy cat to the man on his left side.

-Alright, should we watch Scream? I heard there's a new movie. Exclaimed Akutagawa with a quite happy expression.

-Sure, Atsushi responded, quite forgetting the storm.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. It was surely Atsushi's food that he'd been waiting for an hour already. He got up to get it when Akutagawa grabbed his hand and suggested that he go get it. Atsushi agreed as he went to get them a blanket to share since they only had two and Kyouka already took one to Tokyo.

-I could've cooked for you stupid Jinko. Akutagawa protested.

-I can't just call you to cook for me, that would be stupid. And, who invites their enemy to cook for them? Aren't you trying to kill me? Atsushi replied, clearly annoyed by Akutagawa.

Akutagawa put the food in one bowl, disposed of the cardboard box in the trash and went to sit next to Atsushi who was searching for the movie. The storm was still there, but Atsushi didn't notice it. He was so busy focusing on the film and Akutagawa that he lost the notion of time and fell asleep on his shoulder.

*Oh, he fell asleep on my shoulder. What should i do? And what is this tingling feeling I have in my chest? It's like my heart is beating faster by the second.* Aku questioned himself, his face turning slightly pink. *I should put him in his room, but where is that? And how do I get him there without waking him up?*

He stood there, not knowing what to do, when the idea hit him. *I can use Rashomon to lay him down and i will lay next to him just in case* So he used Rashomon and laid Atsushi down. Before laying down too he went to the bathroom to wash his face and calm down.

Later on, in the middle of the night, Atsushi had a nightmare. And by reflex he grabbed Akutagawa's waist. Akutagawa felt a pair of hands on his waist but didn't turn into Atsushi's direction. He didn't want to wake him up. They stayed like that until morning.

Akutagawa was the first to wake up. He gently took Atsushi's hands off of him and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. He had a big surprise when he opened the fridge because it was empty.

*That stupid Jinko, he can't live off junk food forever. Let's see, i think i will head to the supermarket to buy some ingredients for pancakes* Akutagawa thought, heading to the hanger he left his coat on the previous night.

*Oh, right, it's soaked, and my shoes also. Damn, i'm just gonna take Jinko's ones to go to the supermarket* He took Atsushi's coat and shoes, thankfully they were the same size as his.

He went to the supermarket and bought every ingredient for the pancakes he wanted to make. Half an hour later, he finished shopping and went home.

There, he found Atsushi still sleeping. He went on straight to the kitchen to make the pancakes. Minutes later, Atsushi woke up to the smell of freshly made pancakes. He got up from the bed and went to the kitchen where he found Akutagawa, with an apron on and making the last pancakes.

-Oh, good morning Akutagawa. Atsushi greeted him, taking a seat at the table.

-Are you stupid Jinko? How do you not have food in your fridge? Akutagawa asked clearly mad.

-Well, i always eat out with Kyouka or i just order takeout. I don't really know how to cook. Atsushi replied. Anyways, I wanna try your pancakes, they smell so good. He added, smiling.

-There. Akutagawa handed Atsushi a fork and a knife.

Atsushi took a bite and they were amazing. He never tasted such delicious pancakes.

-Mmm, they're so good! Atsushi complimented them.

-Thank you. Akutagawa replied with a slight pink appearing on his cheeks.

After eating, they both had to go their own way to work. As soon as Akutagawa left, Atsu decided to call Chuuya and tell him everything and ask why he sent Akutagawa over.

-So yeah, that's all that's happened today. Atsushi explained.

-HAH, THAT MACKEREL OWES ME 100 BUCKS!! Chuuya yelled in a happy tone.

-Wait, was this all part of your plan?? Atsushi was confused.

-Of course it was, we bet on you guys all the time, Chuuya said, laughing. Also, I sent him over because I know that you are afraid of storms. He then continued.

-Oh, well, I'm happy we got along today. Atsushi commented happily.

-Ooohh, is it that you're falling for him~? Chuuya teased Atsushi.

-Chuuyaaa, stop it. I am not falling for him. Atsushi replied, annoyed.
