𝓗𝓸𝓽𝓧𝓒𝓸𝓵𝓭 || Shoto Todoroki X Reader | Season 1

𝔖𝔢𝔞𝔰𝔬𝔫 1: ℭ𝔥𝔞𝔭𝔱𝔢𝔯 1~ 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔅𝔢𝔤𝔦𝔫𝔫𝔦𝔫𝔤

"Remember to pack your books Dear!" Back then..School was easy, Middle school was a fun place to be. Friends, doing stupid things that could get you in trouble at any given time possible. Yes there were bullies but who cared? they were just kids who tried to put others down for their own satisfaction. 

"I Know Mom! Oh! And remember May is coming over after school!" First day of the last year of Junior High. Nerve wracking to say the least. My dream was always to get into UA High. My father, a retired Hero after losing His arm during a battle. Inspired me since I was a young girl. Of course it wasn't easy to train for it. 

"I'll remember sweetie" Mom kissed my head before I quickly ran out of the house, in fear of being late of the train. I lived 15 minutes away from my school. Using the train was a better option for me. I'd pass by UA High everyday in awe with just how stunning the school looked. Hoping one day I would go there. 

As I got off the train and walked towards the school grounds, the sounds of kids playing, laughing and cars quickly became louder. I needed to work hard this final year...I needed to get into UA High. "Y/n! Over here!" I heard my best friend yell my name, seeing her near the school gates. "Coming!" I yelled quickly running over to her. A huge smile on her face as always. 

"Ready for the first day of our last year of Junior year?" May grinned happily, jumping up and down. "Yes I am! Just think if we pass we can get into UA!" I grinned even more as we walked into the school. Both of our dreams were to get into UA. We wanted to become Pro Heroes. Both of us Idolized All Might, saving people with a smile. 

"Yess! Just think of how many Pro Heroes we will meet!" May smiled as we got to our lockers "I can't waiit." None of us could wait, having the chance to get into a Hero school. Yes there were many hero schools in the world but none of them stood a chance with UA High. With it's low acceptance rate and a door who made the Pro's we have today.

May groaned as she shut her locker  "Class was as Boring as it always was... and why did Mr Lee give us so much homework on the first dayyy". Mr Lee... our homeroom teacher A strict but kind teacher. He did love to bombard us with homework. "I have no idea.. but bright side its only a year left with him" I spoke grabbing my backpack. 

"A year... does it have to be.." May deadpanned.

Months went on like this, school... homework.. exams Ect.. Yes school was harder than ever but I needed to keep going. I wasn't going to slack off. If I passed with flying colours I would be able to stand a chance to get into UA High. 

"Don't push yourself sweetie okay?" Mom spoke as she placed my food at my desk. "I know mom.. I just.. I want to get into UA." I stared down at the mountains of homework. "And you will get into UA.. I have no doubt about it" Mom kissed my head before leaving my room. 

Yes I was pushing myself... UA's entrance exam was in what... 7-10 months away and with how fast time was going I didnt have time to even relax. 

My quirk is called Kinetic. It allows me to move objects with my mind or hands, I am able to use Kinetic Energy. I can add or remove Kinetic energy from anything. Create force fields, even harness super speed and super strength. Bullets? Bounce like rubber balls, Anything shot towards me? Gone. 

This power does come with its own backlash, if I do use it too much I can weaken, my own body's kinetic energy becoming less hence I will fall to the floor. In worse cases pass out or Vomit. Training this quirk isn't much of easy either. It takes months to even get rock to float. 

Little Did I know learning more about my quirk was the least of my worries.
