Chapter 10: A House of Horrors

The sounds of footsteps was heard behind Izuku as he looked upon the Iceberg Lounge, he didn't turn to address them and instead spoke out loud "Are you ready?"

Bakugou scoffed in response and crossed his arms, but Mina and Tsu nodded and verbally replied "Yup/Yes we are."

The Batman stood from his crouched position and walked to them and spoke "Get your teams in position, when the clock hits 8 we strike."

Bakugou growled and got into his face "And why should we listen to a freak in a mask?"

Izuku's eyes narrowed but didn't go further than that as he responded "Because we don't have time for you to try and compensate for what's in between your legs, we have shit to do and if you get in my way I'll put you down."

Almost frothing at the mouth Bakugou shouted "WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU-"

He was stopped by a kidney punch that lifted him a foot off of the ground and dropped him like a sack of potatoes.

Coughing and sucking in breath after getting the wind knocked out of him, Bakugou stayed in the fetal position clutching his side in pain unable to get up or move.

Batman just looked at him before slowly raising his gaze to the other three, Shoto was stoic but the small amount of panic in his eyes told Izuku he was worried.

The two girls were unable to keep their composure as well as their stoic classmate, they tried their best but not as well as they wished because Izuku noted their trembling hands and sweat forming on their brow.

"If you speak up like that again and give away or position to the guards at the front door I'll knock you out completely instead of just knocking the wind out of you." Batman said coldly.

Izuku then turned his gaze back to the other three "Get to your positions, I'll attack the Penguin head on once the raid starts."

Mina nodded shakily as she went and picked up Bakugou with the help of Shoto, however Tsuyu had stayed frozen in place and was shaking even when the others beckoned her to go with them at the fire escape.

Izuku turned his attention to the frog quirked girl and walked to her, he heard Mina gasp in panic but he didn't give it much mind as he closed the distance between himself and Tsu.

His boots stopped a few inches away from her, his form was taller and towered over her shaking form causing her to shake even more.

But unlike what the heroes thought his reaction would be he instead gently placed a hand on her shoulder and spoke calmly "Froppy, you're a good heroine and a brave young woman. You don't need to be fearful of me, the ones who need to fear me are the criminals and villains in this exam."

Tsu nodded but was still shaking "I-I understand, b-but I can't help but fear what you're capable of after seeing you take down X-Plosion like that."

Izuku understood mentally what she was saying and nodded "I won't hurt you Tsuyu-san, you have my word."

Her shaking lessened at hearing that before stopping fully, she took a deep breath to calm her nerves before looking up into his eyes "Thanks for that."

"It's fine, now if you'd excuse me I have to get into position."

The Batman turned and walked over to the roof's ledge and stepped up onto it, he took his grapple gun out and shot it across to a building farther back behind the Icebeg Lounge before being catapulted into the sky.

Tsuyu and the others watched on as he disconnected the grapple mid air and put it into his utility belt, he then extended his cape and glided onto the Lounge's rooftop.
