CENTURIES AGO DRAGONS RULED THE SKIES and kings, that were closer to the Gods then men, ruled the lands of Westeros. House Targaryen was at the height of it's power and no one dared challenge them out of fear for the dragons they mounted. Then a civil war became the catalyst for the death of all dragons and with it the beginning of the end for House Targaryen. 172 years later, Robert's Rebellion eradicated the house of the dragon and the survivors—a young prince and princess—escaped to the east to live in exile. All the while, a bastard of the wolf and the dragon was raised in Winterfell as the bastard son of the Warden of the North.
