This is a haters to lovers themed story, where Kais initially hated Shahmat (not really;) but falls hard for him.
Shahmat is the Lord of the magic tower and has powers. He is hated by the Royal family and the people except the King himself; because he does pranks and flirts around and he wants to do experiments on Kais.
