Upcoming artist,Tyla gets invited to the 35th Annual Grammy Awards and is nominated for Best African Performance.She meets her idol, Michael Jackson for the first time and is starstruck.Michael immediately falls in love with her.
(Tyla's POV) Hi,I'm Tyla Seethal and I'm 22 years old.I just released my first song Water in November last year and it immediately blew up.Tonight I'll be going to the Grammys because I was nominated for Best African Music Performance and I'm so excited.My younger self would never believe me if I told her she would be going to the Grammys.

My mother and I arrived at the Grammy's and as soon as we got out,we were blinded by flashes.I walked onto the red carpet and took a few pictures before going inside the building.I looked around and saw many of my favourite artists,Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston,Cher and..Michael Jackson.Oh my God.I can't believe I'm in the same room as my idol.My mother and I walked over to our seats and sat down.A few celebrities praised me on my new song Water and I swear I almost fainted.I had to hold my mother's hand for support.The room got quiet as soon as the award show started.
*1 hour later*
It was now time to announce the winner for Best African Music Performance and I crossed my fingers.The suspense was nerve-racking.
"The winner for Best African Music Performance is..Water by Tyla", announced the host as everyone started cheering.I sat in shock for a few seconds before walking on stage.I took the award and walked closer to the mic."Oh my..what the heck?!",I started, causing the room to erupt in laughter."This is crazy.I never thought I'd say I won a Grammy at 22 years old",I said,the crowd was still cheering."If you don't know me,my name is Tyla.I'm from South Africa.Last year God decided to change my whole life.So thank you to God,thank you to my team and my family.I know my mother is crying somewhere in here.Thank you to the recording academy for this category.It's so important.I know I'm forgetting some things but I won a Grammy",I said, excitedly while holding the Grammy up causing the crowd to cheer louder.I walked off stage and sat back down on my seat.
