Chapter 1 (Backstory)

"Guren..."

"...."

"Guren?"

"Yeah?"

The girl sit up, looking at him with her e/c eyes. Her long h/c hair gently flowed by the winds.

The boy, whose name is Guren, looked at her. A blush spread across his cheek as he looked at her with such a soft expression on his face with those violet eyes of his.

"Ah...About that...."

"When we grow up, can we get married?"

The girl asked him, her attention is now on the grass of the garden they're in.

She placed her hand ontop of his gently.

"Just like now. Can we always be together?"

"Impossible."

He reply, making the girl flinches.

He looked upon the sky.

"...I'm from the branch family, an Ichinose. You're from the main house. An Hiiragi. Further more, you're the successor."

The girl looked down. The shadow of her hair covering her face.

"We aren't compatible."

"But...This has nothing to do with this."

The girl said, looking at him, trying to deny it when it's the truth all along.

"It does."

Her grip on Guren hand begin to be more tighter, as she looked down. The shadow of her hair is now covering her face. Her body begin to trembled. She looked like she's gonna cry.

She know. She know crystal clear about this. And yet, she keep thinking of him. She keep and keep thinking of a way for them to be together.

"Ah! There!"

Guren glance his eyes towards the sound of the voice.

"Y/N-sama!"

"It's the Ichinose scum that brought Y/N-sama out!"

Exclaimed the subordinate of her father.

"Someone has come for you."

Guren calmly said, his eyes closed.

"I don't want to leave Guren alone...I..."

Unable to say anything much more, Guren was beaten up to the point he's starting to feel very dizzy.

He had bruises all over his face as he looked over the girl with a half-closed eyes, which is now crying while forcefully being taken away from him.

"I'm sorry! It's my fault, I'm sorry."

The girl apologizes all over and over again, trying to get him to forgive her for putting him in such pain just by being with her.

Her e/c eyes were now had tears falled down her cheek, crying.

"It's not Y/N fault..."

And so Guren thought to himself, his hand gripping the grass tightly as he was struggling to get up.

He crawl a little, looking at Y/N which is now completely gone from his sight.

"No...The one who has no status and power...is me"

Guren thought to himself, tears falling down from his violet eyes as he struggle to reach out his arms.
