It's been 1 year and 9 months since she's been locked in the Skybox's solitary to wait for her death. 635 days to be specific. It's driving her crazy not having any visits, ever, and not seeing anyone besides some guards, as Kane strictly ordered, one told to her once. She couldn't even believe how much she hates him. Since he already took her mother, she wonders if he is targeting her sanity now.
The only thing she could think of, that she hates more than Kane, is The Ark. The Ark and all the stupid laws and stupid leaders. The space station represents nothing but pain and suffering.
The Ark was founded after a nuclear explosion made Earth inhabitable, the twelve nations with existing space stations united to become one, and avoided the human extinction. It is said that after 100 years the planet will be habitable again. After the deadline human kind goes back to Earth.
In The Ark, every crime is punishable by death, except if you are under 18. In that case, you get locked away and wait for your crime to be reviewed at your 18th birthday. If one day she was naive enough to believe this lie, today she is definitely not.
Unfortunately, she knows she hardly has a month left.
