"y/n dinner is ready!" my mum calls out.

My mum is called emily and she's the sweetest person ever, i couldn't ask for a better mum. All my freinds love her and she treats them like they're her own.
I walk downstairs to be hit with the sudden smell of bbq chicken (or your favourite food :) ). i got myself a can of sprite from the fride and sat down at the table along with my dad ben, he's quiet but kind, don't really get much out of him but oh well.
"hey dad, is okay if lauren comes round tomorrow?"
"sure i dont mind" he quietly says while getting his plate of food.
"yay thank you" i follow up after him and give him a kiss on the cheek, because yk cute things.
Grabing my plate, i sit back down and start eating.
*a few hours later*
(texts between y/n and lauren)
y/n - hey girlll, you can come over tomorrow :)
L - yessss
y/n - come over at like 10?
L - ofc
y/n - alr then see you at 10
L - bye girlll
I chuck my phone on my bed and walk over to my wardrobe, i grab some pjs and get ready for bed. Jumping on my bed a turn my bed side table light off and go to sleep.
