Trust Fall

"Alright guys," Raph said, balancing on the wire between two buildings, "Today's exercise is all about trust!"

That, of course, earned the usual groans and complaints from the other three turtles.

"Why can't it ever be about pizza!?"

"Technically we have pizza week."

"But that's not an exercise."

"Actually-"

"Guys!" Raph exclaimed, making the three look back over at him sheepishly, "Focus! We're gonna do a basic trust test! Trust falls!"

"Trust falls?" Donnie said, eyeing Raph up and down, "Respectfully, I think it is physically impossible for anyone except Mikey to catch you."

"One, rude," Raph said, frowning, "Two, this is a trust test and a test on our skills! You have to do whatever it takes to catch them! We'll all take turns falling and catching."

"Sounds interesting," Leo said with a grin, but then glanced down at the drop, "Hmm, what if one of us falls?"

"It's approximately two stories, a fall that we frequently have," Donnie said, flipping his goggles back up after his scan, "Not one of us would be injured by it."

"Alright! Who's first?" Mikey asked excitedly, grinning.

"Hmmm," Raph thought, looking at his three younger brothers, then grinned, "How 'bout Leo."

"Awww man!" Leo complained, walking on the wire to switch out with Raph, "Who's catching me first?"

"Ooh! Ooh! Me!" Mikey said, jumping up and down.

"Alright," Raph laughed at Mikey's excited attitude, he loved the chance to show off his razz matazz, "Fall whenever you're ready Leo!"

Leo immediately fell backwards, arms crossed over his chest and eyes shut.

Mikey swung his kusari fundo, gold chains appearing and wrapping around Leo. He yanked him back up and onto the rooftop.

"Nice! You put the 'fun' in kusari fundo," Leo joked as Mikey held his hand up for a high three.

"I'll go next," Donnie said as Leo stood back on the center of the wire.

Leo once again fell backwards without complaint, and Donnie jumped after him, he caught Leo mid-air and used his hover shell to carry him back to the roof.

"Eyyyy, nice one Dontron," Leo congratulated as Donnie set him down.

"What do you expect? Only greatness as per usual," Donnie said with a smirk.

"Raph's turn!" Raph exclaimed as Leo got back on the wire. He fell back and Raph used a projection hand to catch him and lift him back to the rooftop.

"Wow! Raph you're getting really good with your powers!" Leo exclaimed excitedly, high threeing Raph and jumping around.

"I'll go next!" Mikey said, leaping onto the middle of the wire.

He fell immediately with both Raph and Donnie, who caught him and celebrated. And then it was Leo's turn.

"My turn," Leo said, unsheathing his odachi as Mikey stepped onto the wire.

"Wait," Mikey said nervously, "You're gonna use your sword?"

"Yeah? You guys have been using your weapons and powers and stuff," Leo said with a shrug, "Why?"

". . .can you portal there properly?" Mikey asked quietly, looking down nervously at the ground.
