The plane ride to the mansion was boreing. All that happened was me and Seth having a study session. Of course though half the ride Seth was still studying while I was reading due to having great memorization skills and doing most of the work throughout the week.

A limousine picked us up at the private airport, which was much closer to the mansion than any other public one. Mr. Robinson was waiting inside.

He wore his usual black suit and tie, his black hair which had grey streaks starting to show combed back neatly. His face unreadable.

"You have today through tomorrow afternoon when you'll fly back to school. Nothing more" he states.

As soon as we get there I am lead by Mr. Robinson with Seth out to a giant storage buildings area. We went to the one that had a giant #16 on the front.

A worker opened the doors for us using a passcode. And we got to work.

Boxes were everywhere, even our old house furniture. Even every single piece of silverware and each vase. But that's not what I needed. I needed my mom's old things.

I'm about five minutes I found a cluster of boxes labeled, 'Tory's things'. Aunt Rebecca had been in charge of helping to coordinate the packing and moving, and this was obviously her hand writing. She must have done mom's things herself.

"Found them!"I call to Seth who was still searching.

Grabbing the first box I take the scissors I was given and open it up. It was all of my mom's old clothes. Nothing seeming out of the ordinary.... Next.

"Okay, I need a break" it was already four. We'd been going through almost all of the boxes and nothing!

"Here" Seth tosses me a water bottle. I opened the cap and took a sip. "We only have a few more left, then we are done.

He was right, we were over three quarters done. There was only ten to fifteen boxes left. But it wasn't the fact that I was tired that made my stomach have a pit. It was the thought of doing this all for nothing and getting zero leads.

Better yet, I'd forced myself to do this. Going through my mom's old things hurt. I felt like I was violating her space...

Pushing the thoughts out of my head I go to open the next box and stoped. It was full of all kinds of antiques. My mom had a weird thing for finding old cool looking antique things. One of her favorites was a silver jewelry box with a rose on the top. She'd always told me that once I was older I'd get it.

That's when I realized it wasn't in the box of antiques. I go to the next box in a hurry. Nothing.

My heart pounded as I went through every single box. The jewelry box was missing.
