She knows

Looking out the window, watching the birds soar through the sky. I've always wondered what it would be like to fly and be free of worry and to not have a care in the world. Ever since my mom was murdered by someone that had not moral and my step dad left, me and my sister Lux have been bombarded with responsible and expectations that we sometimes can't for fill. My aunt Lydia took care of use til Lux and I were old enough to take care of ourselves. Now I'm 19 and Lux is 20, we still live with each other with Lux working as a PA and I work as a DJ at a club in the city. When we were teens we promised each other was would never lie or keep secrets from each other but there's one thing I can't tell her. I'm a werecat.

"Oakley can you come here really quick I need you to do something for me" Lux my older sister yelled from down stairs. She's always making me do something for her then when I ask for something she never wants to do it. Bitch.

Running down the hallway making my way to the kitchen spotting Lux cooking over the stove with headphones in her ears. I sneak up behind her putting my hands on her shoulders saying "boo".

She dropped the spatula as she swings her arm around nearly hitting me.

"What the hell Oakley, I could have knocked you out cold" she says glaring at me.

"Yeah right, I'm here now what do you want and if you made me get up for no reason I well be the one knocking you out" I said in all seriousness.

"OK here's what I need you to do, I need you to go to that dress store and buy that dress I told you about and then buy yourself one cause I know you don't have a single decent dress in your closet" she says walking over to the stove picking up the spatula off the floor than going back to whatever she was cooking before. Walking out the kitchen and into the dining room picking up the keys to my red Audi then walking out the door.

After getting a strapless red dress with a heart shaped neckline that Lux wanted, I got an all laced black dress that stops mid-thigh.

As I walked in the house, I noticed two different sense with one being my sister' s.

"Oakley can you come here please " Lux says from the living room. When I walked into the living room I saw a guy with jet black hair and the most palest blue eyes I've ever seen.

"Umm... hi I'm Oakley and you are?" I said putting down the bags I had in my hand.

"Hey I'm Max and I'm your sister' s boyfriend" he said stretching out his arm to shake my hand, but I refuse to shake the strangers hand

"He's a werewolf and Lux must be his mate" my wolf said try to take control.

"The hell, L can I speak to you in private" taking her hand not giving her a chance to answer. As I pulled her into the bathroom shutting the door behind me, I turned on the water so it couldn't hear our conversation.

"What the hell Lux, I don't even know if I should be happy or passed with. you what about our promise to each other " I say feeling a little betrayed but I also feel like a hipacrit.

"I'm so sorry that I keep this secret from you but you have secret that you keep from me," I can fell my face turning bright red.

"What secret" she glared at me.

"The one that when you turned 13 you shifted into a cheetah and plus I'm one to but I turned at the age of 16" she said looking directly in my eyes.

Holy stars she know and is one, maybe I heard wrong maybe my guilt is eating at me and making me hear things. Well at least I don't have to worry about my secret getting out.

Hey everyone I hope you all like the first chapter and want to read on. I was really nervous about publishing this because this is my first book that I'm writing on Wattpad. I know this is a short chapter but I promise they will get longer and more interesting as the story goes on... so yeah that's all I have to say mkay bye.
