Kaunting patalastas po muna before you start reading the story, may mga sasabihin lang po muna sana ako para hindi kayo nalilito lalo na if bago po kayo sa ganitong genre ng story.
The story's setting will revolve around the Dystopian Future, meaning way ahead of our current timeline, if alam niyo iyong mga story like Hunger Games, Divergent, Ready Player One, What Happened to Monday, The Matrix, etc.
If familiar kayo sa mga ganyang story/movie then magkakaintindihan tayo, but if hindi naman, allow me to explain kung anong mayroon sa Dystopian Future na setting.
A dystopian future is a setting often characterized by oppressive societal control, ehem martial law, dehumanization, environmental disasters, or other cataclysmic events. Pagkawala ng freedom, sense of individuality, and pagkakaroon ng resistance against totalitarian regimes.
Sa setting na ito talamak yung Government Control, mayroong mga strict surveillance, propaganda, and control over citizens. Dito rin pumapasok yung Technological Oppression, kung saan ginagamit yung mga advance technology para ma-monitor at ma-control yung population. Nagkakaroon ng Social Inequality, between the elites and the impoverished masses. Sobrang higpit din ng pagpapatakbo ng government which leads to Loss of Individuality, dahil sa conformity at suppression ng personal freedom at creativeness. Siyempre hindi mawawala ang mga Resistance and Rebels, iyong mga group or individuals na lumalaban against the oppressive system.
