New's pov:

I was just spending my time, drinking coffee and doing a design on the tablet when Phi Godji came running to me out of nowhere.

"New! New!" She screamed on the way.

"What is it, phi?" I asked as I stood up from my chair.

"There's a good news! Tay signed a contract with us!! He wants you to design their company's clothes!" Phi Godji screamed it so loudly onto my face that I could see spit coming out of her mouth. Disgusting!

"Tay? "Art" company's CEO? No way!" I exclaimed sarcastically and slightly rolled my eyes. A cheesy smile formed on my face.

Yes, Tay, the CEO of Thailand's number 1 clothing brand, "Art" out of nowhere wanted me to be their designer. I never expected this to happen even though I was the number 1 fashion designer of this country so I should have. Tay was a man I didn't really know much about. But judging from his appearance and ego which I saw in his interviews, he never seemed to be the type of guy for me to like.

Because of being the owner of the largest brand, Tay's interviews were everywhere. And I'd noticed that recently Tay's company was trying to hire the best fashion designers in the country to design their clothes. I thought they were trying to get worldwide recognition then. But no boy, not on my watch! I started fashion designing not for money, but for recognition, fame and passion.

So your money was not gonna drag me to you, Mr. Tay. Even if I quitted fashion designing that day, I'd still have enough money to live the rest of my life peacefully. So if you want me, you have to show me.

"I reject the offer!" I replied, coldly.

Phi Godji's jaw immediately dropped. She couldn't believe what was being said. Besides his obvious business rumors, there were also rumors around the about his personal life. And even though I was clearly not interested in that matter, it was everywhere and I simply couldn't avoid it. It was said that even though he was always smiling in his interviews, he was always strictly professional and rude too in real. Not to mention that the man was extremely attractive, to the point that almost everyone in my organisation had a thing for him, including phi Godji.

"Are you crazy? The biggest clothing brand of Thailand offered you a deal and you're gonna reject it just like that?" Phi Godji asked, still in disbelief at my stubbornness.

I slightly smiled and couldn't help but smirk at her question. "And who do you think I am? The best fashion designer of Thailand. If you want me, you need to earn me first," I pressed and walked back to my desk, drinking my coffee and doing my design.

Yes, he had an ego which he loved to protect but so had I. Just because he's popular and attractive wouldn't have made me give in for him to think I'm easy.

Phi Godji walked away shaking her head. "This man!" She murmured.

Mint, one of my colleagues, was laughing and giggling the whole time as she was sitting next to me listening to the conversation. She laughed out loud once Phi Godji left the room. She walked forward and asked out while laughing,

"Are you really gonna reject the offer?"

"I am! Listen, I know he'll be willing to even beg me to accept his offer as his company is going down right now and he's pretty greedy, wanting worldwide fame. Only I can help him with that! So why not have some fun with it before accepting?" I replied and giggled. As one of my oldest colleagues, Mint knew me quite well. She knew that I really loved to mess with people.

"Being such a smartass, aren't you? But what if he takes the offer back?" She laughed while asking.

''He won't, trust me. And even if he does, it's his loss." My lips formed a cheeky smile.

I didn't get a call from him at all to the office after but I had faith in my guts. Even though I didn't really care much, but I was interested in knowing what kind of person he actually was in real life. So as I expected, he appeared in my office out of nowhere the next day.

He followed me around the office. "Mr. New, please accept the offer," He requested. Of course, I kept refusing his offer but after a few minutes of him giving me puppy eyes, I kind of melted. "What will I get if I accept this offer?" I asked, sternly.

"Money! What else do you want?" He stood up straight and asked.

"Trust me, if I wanted money, I wouldn't be a fashion designer," I replied, the corner of my lips lifting upwards to form a cheeky smirk.

"Now move aside. You're disturbing my work," I added, giving him a fake smile and pretending to get back to my work.

He immediately walked in front of my computer, almost panicking and said, "If you don't accept this offer, I... I'll destroy this computer!'' I immediately laughed out loud, hearing such. That was one of the most hilarious things I've heard a grown ass man ever say to me. Who would've thought the CEO of the best clothing company in Thailand would be this childish?

"Ah... go ahead. Do what you want!" I smiled, giving him permission to fulfill his ridiculous offer.

He stared at me for a second before averting his gaze to the computer, touched it and then turned back to me, "Please, accept the offer na." He requested, pouting his lips.

I smiled unknowingly. "I have already signed the document, Mr. CEO." His begging face disappeared. He stood up straighter and looked at me confusingly,

"Yo- You have?" He squinted his eyebrows, asking before at his secretary beside. The secretary nodded in agreement.

He cleared his throat and fixed his tie, trying to hide his face in embarrassment. His voice immediately changed into a maturer tone. "I... I need to go," He claimed and ran away.

The whole staff including me laughed out loud the second he left the office. "That was the CEO?" I asked and laughed. "You were totally right, New!" Mint said.

"Ok, everyone, get back to work!" Phi Godji ordered, acting like the boss as always.
