You're a new student.

You enter the new college and feel really nervous since you were home-schooled before and don't have any experience with socializing with other students. You walk into the room only to see a few empty seats, so you quickly take yours, which is in the third row of the five-row room. You can feel the girls in the front row talking about you since they either point at you or whisper about the "new girl."

You feel a pat on your shoulder and turn to see a guy. And wow, talk about handsome!

"Hey, do you have a pencil I could borrow? I left mine in my locker," he asks with a warm smile. You nod and take out your pencil, handing it to him. As you do, you notice one of the girls from the front row walking over to you. She glares at you before turning to him.

"Heeseung, you can have my pencil instead of a low-quality one like hers," she says, her voice dripping with disdain.

Heeseung shakes his head. "I think I'm good," he replies, taking your pencil.

You shrug off the girl's behavior, but she scoffs in your direction before walking away. It hasn't even started, and already people hate you!

The lesson begins, and you immerse yourself in solving the chemistry equations given as practice. A tap on your shoulder pulls you out of your focus. You turn to see Heeseung smirking at you.

"Is this answer correct?" he asks, showing you his work.

You check his answer and realize he made a mistake. "Actually, you need to balance the equation like this," you explain, correcting him. Your hands brush briefly, making you both pause. You quickly apologize and turn back to your work.

After the class is over, you head to the library to study. You find a quiet spot and open your books, eager to lose yourself in your studies. Just as you're settling in, you hear a throat clear. Looking up, you see Heeseung leaning against a shelf, looking effortlessly cool in his leather jacket.

"Mind if I join you?" he asks.

You nod, trying to keep your composure. "Not at all."

Heeseung sits down next to you, placing the pencil he borrowed on the table between you. "Thanks for this, by the way. I'll return it as soon as I can."

"It's okay, keep it," you say, attempting to sound casual. "So, do you come to the library often?"Heeseung chuckles. "Yeah, I actually do. It's a nice place to get away from everything. Plus, it's quiet enough to get some serious studying done."

You nod in agreement. "I totally get that. It's my first day, and everything feels so overwhelming."

Heeseung smiles reassuringly. "You'll get used to it. Just take it one step at a time."

Before you can respond, a group of guys walks over. They all take seats around you and Heeseung.
