She was sobbing inside her small cottage, looking at the mud sculpture of krishna ji infront of her. "Mohan pyare (my dear Krishna) will i never get to see your delightful form? What is the use of this life if i cant feel your presence in it!!" As she continued to cry a small light appeared in the statue, a voice was heard, "I am content with your devotion dear, what do you wish for?" She looked up and said, "Pyare mohan, i only wish to have you as my sakha, so I can see your delightful smile when ever i want". "Be it then, sakhi, i shall be your sakha in your next life. Will you be waiting sakhi?"

It was dark and stormy outside when Yadhav pal and his wife were returning from a puja.
As they were walking past the Ganga ghat, they heard a distant sound of crying baby.
"Dear! Can you hear it!?" Asked Kunja, Yadhav's wife. "Yes beloved, there might be child somewhere" said Yadhav, kunja's motherly instincts suddenly kick in and she says"what if it is in danger!? Dear please go look there once!"
Yadhav and Kunja walk deeper into the storm and walk on the mudy road to the ghat. "Ah dear!! look look!!!" Kunja cried out in fear as she saw a newborn baby, all alone, tucked in a basket, left in a step of the ghat, the water level almost touching it. "DEAR DEAR SAVE IT!!"
Yadav (i changed the spelling of his name) rushed in and took the baby in his hands and came back to Kunja. "Ah my dear!! Its a baby girl!!" Kunja cried out. "Lets take her to our home first!!" Yadav and Kunja took her home that night. Though they didnt notice the man waiting behind a tree, that man had noticed Yadav taking her away.

"What a charming face she has, and her brown eyes, the way they are doing magic at me, dear, can we adopt her!?" Kunja finally said what was in her heart. "Kunja... My mother might not-" Kunja stopped Yadav in mid speech, "Kanhaji (Krishna) didnt give us a child, and today on janmastami, we found her, maybe this is a sign that he wants us to keep this girl, we can raise her as our own child." Kunja had tears in her eyes, she finally had a hope to ever be called mother. "Hmm" Yadav looked at the girl's eyes, who was playing quietly with Kunja's dupatta. "Maybe its the god's wish and you know what Kunja, because she is a gift from god, we will name her Advika" Yadav took Advika, now his daughter in his hands. "Advika, Advika" kunja called her playing with her fingers.
