Solis Bay stretched lazily along the rugged coastline, its cliffs crowned with wildflowers that swayed gently in the salty breeze, its summer. At that time of the year, people go on vacations or stay for the beach, but Luna, Kai, Theo and Marina would rather get their hands dirty

Bestfriend since childhood, the 4 of them always had a passion for exploring abandonned and ruined places, they all had their reasons : for Luna, it was because she was obsessed over the dystopian aesthetic and magic, for Kai, it was because he ADORED action, thriller, adrenaline, all of that, and also magic, for Theo, it was because, being the huge history nerd he is, he had a big passion for ancien thing, and Marina just loved nature and magic, she always felt like they had a connection.

And today's victim was the old lighthouse nobody dared to enter for some reason, it was set ! At 7 pm, they would join each other at the main entrance of the lighthouse, easy right ? WRONG

Even tho they were all 15 or 16, their parents would've never let them out at 7pm, specially if it was to explore an abandonned lighthouse, plus, their parents never liked their little passion of going into dangerous place, so there was only one way, lying that they would go to a school vacation

Their school was actually doing that but they refused to go, soo perfect plan and after the lighthouse, they would go to other places their parents forbidden them to go

"Ok, perfect," said Marina, "We all tell our parents that we need to go to the beach at 6:30 pm to gather with the teacher"

Everybody noded, they were all excited, it was their first time visiting an abandonned lighthouse filled with tails and legends. It was their dreams since childhood, and now they were finally old and experimented enough to go

"I heard that the old owner of the lighthouse died and that he still haunts itttt," Kai said amused while doing ghostly hand gesture

"Cmon, you really believe that," Theo said desamused. "Its just an old legend created to scare childrens away"

"I know, i know," Kai said sulking, he never really liked the fact that Theo always thought that he was the baby and naive of the group, everytime he said something, Theo had to intercome. "You know, i was joking, huh ?" Kai said annoyed at Theo mocking expression

Theo looked at him with a blank expression. "Sure," he smirked while asjusting his glasses

Kai narrowed his eyes and crossed his arm "You know Theo, for somebody who is that smart, you really have a hard time seeing beyond those books you read 24/7, maybe if you, i dont know, pulled your head out of those dusty books, you would actually see that some of the legends are worth believing in"

Theo seemed annoyed by Kai response, but didnt said anything back. Before the tension could escalated, Marina came between them "Alright, enough bickering you two, help us find a way throught the lighthouse"

Kai turned to Luna, who was scanning the horizon. "Didnt we already found a way in?," he asked curious. "Well, maybe if you and Theo didnt fought over a small thing AGAIN, you would've saw that our class is actually going to the beach for the gathering, the beach who is right in front of the lighthouse"

Kai turned, a little embarassed by Luna's remark. "We are lucky, it's only 3pm," Luna nodded at Kai's word. "He is right, let's split up to cover more of the horizon: me and Marina are covering north-est and north-west, you two are gonna cover south est and west, got it?" All of them nodded
