Prologue

The sun is shining brightly upon my eyes and I wake up and check the time, flip it's 9:30am and i have an interview at 10:00.(Why didn't my alarm go off). now i have-  to go and look for another job because the manager there will obviously throw me out. Who wakes up at 9:30 when looking for a job?just great mihlali.

sivuyile: haibo ntombi weren't you supposed to go job hunting?

*sivuyile is my flat mate and the only friend i have here in Centurion.*

Me: I woke up late.(saying that with no emotion whatsoever)

Sivuyile: kodwa yini nkosiyami. You always wake up late mahn mihlali.

Me: Oh please don't. hai namhlanje ndyak'cela.

I even forgot to introduce myself. ndi nguMihlali Jola. 23 years of age with qualifications of being a gynecologist but luck has never been on my side. I am an orphan as i don't know my real parents and i was lucky to be adopted by the Jola family because of the love i receive from them. Aunty back at the For love Orphanage told me that my dad(real dad) is no longer alive and that my mom couldn't take care of me as she was ill that's why she threw me in a garbage bin and aunty found me and took me to the orphanage where she works. I love my adoptive parents to bits and they make sure that i get everything i want that's why i'm so spoiled.

*Back to reality*

I just decided to make my bed and go to my en-suit bathroom and do my daily routine. after that i opted to wear my blue nike tracksuits and white sleepers and took a fluffy throw. I went downstairs and i found sivuyile making breakfast. Talk about being wife material.

Me: oh wifey i should just put a big rock on that finger you're already taking good care of me.

Sivuyile: hell no.ungavele uxhaphaze i-fuck out of me.

I hold my chest dramatically and sulk.

Me: uzikhathazile iimvakalelo zam
