ch-6 Hate

Everyone became silent after hearing safiya's words Specially saif as he didn't expect his mother to speak this. But Hamza was angry like anything.

Hamza- what are you saying aunty, this can't happen, not now, not ever. She is not like our sister but she is our sister. And I hope everyone agrees on that. He said glancing at everyone.

Everyone agreed cause they knew this would never happen.even Faiza hated that and was happy that she doesn't have to marry her bestfriends, more like brothers. Then madeeha came forward and spoke hesitantly.

Madeeha- umm w-what about r-rahil. As she spoke that words rahil and Faiza both fell numb. Rahil widened his eyes while Faiza just froze. Mujahid and hidayat (rahil's father) looked at eachother as hidayat nodded his head.

Hidayat- i think that's a good idea.

Rahil- NO! Everyone looked at him as he shouted a little too loudly. I won't marry her, she is my sister, how can you even think that abbu. He said angrily making madeeha angry a little.

Mujahid- rahil beta, please, this is a request from a father to you, marry my daughter. He said staring right into his eyes. Rahil saw how his eyes were a little wet too but he was firm on his decision.

Rahil- sorry khalu jaan but I can't. He said sternly. Madeeha grabbed his arm and took him to a corner. Where no one can hear them.

Madeeha- what is wrong with you rahil. Why are you not agreeing huh?! I know she is your sister but cousin sister, and in Islam cousins getting married is a nice thing.

Rahil- you can't force me ammi, I want to marry a girl of my choice, I can't destroy my life like this. He said bitterly.

Madeeha- you are not destroying your life beta, just think about that girl, who was waiting for her groom but he never came and now she is broken to even say something. Just look at her. She pointed at Faiza who was crying silently and rahil looked at her too.
She is not even saying if she wants to marry you or not, she is just agreeing to the decision of the elders. Look at her family who is in a broken state now.

Rahil looked at his khala who was now crying again as afeefa was consoling her. Mujahid was talking to hidayat in a vulnerable state. He loves his khala alot and can't see her like that. Even Adil was in tears and was trying to console his sister. He sighed deeply and said.

Rahil- ok, but remember, i agreed only for my khala and khalu. He said and walked outside the room. Everyone got confused but thought that he didn't agreed. Madeeha went to them and informed that he agreed. Everyone was happy but not that happy anymore.

Faiza was shocked and was processing whatever happened just now. Is she really getting married to the love of her life? Is her dream coming true now? Destiny played well and she was actually happy but little did she know that her life is going to change forever now.

Taheer and ms. Khan again apologized to mujahid and ameena and was about to leave but mujahid stopped them saying that they can attend the wedding atleast as their family friends. They were happy to know that mujahid is respecting them even after what happened.

Soon it was nikah time, rahil was furious and that didn't go unnoticed by Faiza but she knew his anger would fade away by time. Khazi sahab first asked Faiza about her approval and without hesitation she said kabul hai (yes). Rahil was shocked seeing that but kept his neutral face. Then khazi sahab asked rahil, he didn't say anything at first but agreed in the next two times.

Everyone became happy after the nikah yet was unhappy. Rahil and Faiza didn't utter a single word despite sitting beside eachother. The relatives were confused seeing the groom change and the family didn't said anything to end their confusion. They knew it'll just led to a news for the people and media.
