Aman leads me outside silently without uttering a word. He brings me to a car and opens the door for me.

I scowl at him as he nudges me inside.

The atmosphere is so tense as I toss a glance at him who's unusually silent. I know the circumstances aren't good for us for having a good chitchat but that hasn't stopped Aman from grilling me with question and conversations before where I fixed an annoying expression in my face when in reality I really enjoyed listening to him talk.

Aarav's death still hanging over us, we both marinate in silence as we don't know what to say or do. Suddenly he stops the car infront of a huge building. My brows dips in confusion as he rounds the car and holds the door open for me.

"What is this..." I stop midspeech when I see a big sign displayed infront of the building which spells out 'Mehra Coutures'.

I stand in awe as I realize this is the headquarters of his store, a testament to Aman's dedication and hard work. The building before me is a towering, pristine black structure that stretches 20 stories or more into the sky. Its sleek, modern entrance, framed by glass and steel.

"Would you like to see what's inside?" He asks suddenly from behind. His voice containing uncertainty. I turn around to see him watching me minutely for my reaction.

"I'd love to." I say and he releases a breath taking me inside. Because I want to see what he has worked so hard for. What makes him the person he is. He loves what he does so I want to know what kind of place it is.

It's the noon time and everyone's already out for lunch. We walk by small cabins reserved for employees as some of them who has stayed in greet at us and perks up seeing Aman.

"Good afternoon sir." A man who looks like he's in his late 50s dressed in grey formals addresses him and gives me a warm smile.

"Good afternoon Shekar. How's your day?" We stop infront of the man as Aman takes my hand into his.

"Going good so far sir. I thought you wouldn't visit the office for another week?" He questions eyeing our binded hands.

"Ah. I wanted to show the place to my wife." Aman looks at me adoringly and my heart makes a funny flip at him calling me his wife to others.

"Oh I forgot." My husband suddenly draws me closer by my waist, "Meet Nitya Heer Mehra. My wife." He says proudly as Shekar glances up at me in surprise.

"Hello madam." He smiles, "Congratulations on your wedding. I am Shekar by the way. I work here for Mr.Mehra as the clerk." He introduces himself with a respectful nod.

I smile at him despite what happened today, "Hello. You have a nice office here." I say to him.

I know my conversation skills are shit but he doesn't care, "Thank you madam. You can carry on sir. If you need anything just holler." With that he leaves us on our own.
