Life Isn't Fair

Jason's PoV
Hi I'm Jason and today was the day my dad, Cole Turner In case you're wondering warned me about.
I suppose I'd better start from yesterday afternoon.
" Jason sit down " my dad said folding his newspaper and putting it on the table.
" I know that you're just getting used to your powers being part demon and all"
I flinched at the word demon.
My mum was full demon and my dad was half making me over half demon.
" I want you to let me help you " he said boldly, I felt anger rise in my body.
" I DONT WANT YOUR HELP " I screamed, I felt my skin burn and a fireball appear in my hand.
" Jason, calm down sit down please " my dad said.
I threw the fireball at my dad, he saw it coming and ducked. It hit the back wall and burnt a hole through it.
My dad got up and grabbed me firmly by the shoulders, he took me to a mirror.
I saw myself in demon form, I looked like Belthazor red skin, pointed ears but instead of black marks I had white ones. My blue eyes had disappeared and in their place were orange eyes with yellow flecks.
" do you want to be this for your whole life ?" He questioned.
" no, no I don't " I murmured.
" good then listen up, because this is gonna be one heck of a journey " he snarled into my ear.
" training begins today, bring shorts and your PE shirt meet me at 3.30 pm in the gym. " he said shooting me his usual 'have a nice day at school son ' smile and patting my back.
I put my rucksack on and got in My older brother jack's car.
" hey lil bro did dad give you the talk ?" He asked me, he is 19 and he still lives with me and dad, he's only quarter demon because his mother was human.
I nodded.
" tough break man, anyway How's school been ? You still a loner " he said, I shot him a death stare.
" I'm not a loner I made the decision to stay away from people until I can control the other side " I muttered.
Jack pulled up in front of the school.
" you'll learn to control it and don't forget I love you man " he said, I hid my face in embarrassment.
" J...Jack shut up don't " I stuttered.
Jack laughed, " you're not to old to embarrass yet" he chuckled to himself.
I guess you could say I Crave normality.
" love you " he shouted pushing me out of the car.
I saw Carmel giggle at me.
Oh great.
She was walking toward me with Chase Roberts my sorta best friend.
Noticed his Blonde highlights and green eyes
" hey Turner how you been ?" He said warmly.
I nodded, unsure how to react.
" I've been alright thanks Robbie " I said, everyone calls him Robbie no one dares call him chase.
" I've just seen the most disgusting display of affection " Carmel said flicking her hair.
" who with ?" I questioned, I like to know who is with who.
" oh periwinkle waters and Alexander critics " Carmel said casually.
I knew they'd date eventually.
Instead of saying that, Robbie cut in.
" yea sad right ? I know you've had a crush on periwinkle since first year " he said.
I went red, when me and rob were in first year we had to choose which girl we'd go out with.
Kinda like a dare.
Rob chose caramels enemy silver johns
And I chose periwinkle waters.
Stupid right.
" cough cough silver johns cough cough" I said, Carmel shrugged at Robbie, and he himself just bit his lip.
" Carmel ain't you got that party organising thing now " Robbie said seriously.
" yeah thanks I'll see you later Robbie " she muttered as she strode away.
" I've missed you turner " he said, hugging me.
His hug was a bit of a surprise seeing as he wasn't really the hugs person.
" yeah I guess I've missed you as well bro " I replied, doing our signature handshake.
" friends again " he questioned, holding out his hand face up.
"Best friends bro " I replied slapping his palm.
" awesome " he murmured.
Jack waved to me and Robbie.
" where you been ?" I asked him
He looked troubled for a minute.
" places, maybe just maybe silver's house " he said nervously.
" oh god, seriously " I said practically killing myself laughing.
" hey cmon " he said, tugging at my arm.
" sorry.sorry so you and sliver seriously ?" I questioned,
He went red and shrugged
" yeah I guess, dunno how I'm supposed to tell caramel " he explained as we walked to our form room.
Silver was sat in a corner reading a book, she looked up and saw Robbie.
She smiled smaller than usual and continued reading her book.
Robbie flushed red.
I noticed, that Carmel was stood near the window, staring out of it.
" Bro, you should break up with her " I said, patting his shoulder.
He looked doubtful.
" I know, but-"
" Just do it, now get it over and done with "
" Okay wish me luck "
" Luck " I whispered as he headed for Carmel.
I heard a little bit of their conversation.
" Yeah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to-"
"Don't even bother Chase "
At that moment Carmel stormed past me...
